Author's POV

Marona was in deep sleep after breakfast, her body gave up after sleep deprivation of so many nights and Mikhail's torture had made her exhausted which worsened the situation.

It was early evening when she woke up after a good sleep. She rubbed her face and sat up in her bathrobe which she didn't change because there is nothing to change into.

Mikhail was still not around so she got up and freshened up. She stood on the balcony and sighed in the ocean breeze. The view was peaceful and calm, no one was around.
She couldn't understand why it was so silent. People were missing which is rare on beaches.

The water was clean blue which tempted her to go near it. She went back inside the room and changed into a bikini which was black with a knotted top. After tying a long scarf around her waist, she went downstairs and saw two maids working.

"Do you need something, Ma'am?"
The maid greeted her when she saw Marona coming downstairs.

"Coffee?"
Marona asked.

"Sure, ma'am... Are you going to the beach?"
She asked.
"I'll bring it there."

Marona looked at her confused but nodded.
"If you have a mat then bring that too."

She went out and saw that no human was around except her and maids.

Her naked feet felt the sand beneath and she felt the calmness coming back in her mind. She was stuck in a turmoil of emotions and the peace of the ocean was much needed.

She walked on wet sand while waves washed her feet. The maid came with coffee and a mat and she sat down, facing the ocean and sipping on the coffee.
The sun was going down as it was sunset time.

Her phone rang and she smiled when she saw Della's name on the screen.
"I was missing you."
She said when she answered the call.

"See, I know! That's why I called you"
Della chuckled.
"How are you? How's things going?"

Marona released a big sigh.
"I am drinking coffee at the beach... It feels good... The sunset is peaceful."

"What are you doing at the beach?"
Della asked confused.
"I thought you must be in your palace."

"It's my honeymoon, Della... How can you forget?"
She smiled bitterly.

"Oh"
That was her reaction before the silence of a few seconds.
"Is he forcing you? I hope he is not hurting you."

Marona shook her head.
"He hasn't hurt me yet. And he is not forcing me, he fucked me and I enjoyed it."

"Marona!"
Della signed.
"You don't look good while sounding so bitter... I am worried for you."

Marona chuckled bitterly.
"I am saying the truth. He knows how to fuck, must be experienced..."

Della could sense the heaviness in her voice.
"What have you decided to do further?"

"Nothing!"
She placed down the mug.
"I'll go with the flow... I don't want to do anything now, I am tired. I have tried to chase something my whole life which wasn't even there, now my all energy is drained and I am feeling like a fool... That's it! I will stay quiet and calm now. Let Mikhail do anything he wants until he is not beating the shit out of me like his father..."

"I am sorry that you have to face this... You never sounded so hopeless..."
Della sounded sad.
"But I think Mikhail is better for you than Laurence... Maybe he is supposed to be your destiny and that's why you are there."

Marona played with the sand as Della spoke.
"Mikhail is my death not destiny... Life has played with me enough and is now bored with me so now it has given me the man who makes me shiver with his mere stare and I am sure I'll die slowly with this fear..."
