The broken heart

Chapter 53

Jimin slightly knocked on the youngest door, obviously without expecting any response. Which he correct at that. He carefully opened the door, and his youngest brother was resting his head on study table, sleeping. He sighed, but soon he realized, kid was dressed well, which means he get up in the morning and even have a shower. He smiled seeing the boy. 

"Kevin baby, Wake up dear, Let's have breakfast" Jimin said. Kevin squirmed, but fast to wake up. He nodded slightly, getting up. He feel weak and exhausted. Why not? He just up all the night and his weak body doesn't support that. "I will go and wake up our Jungkookie, He must be sleeping" Jimin said, "I will go" Kevin hastily said to which Jimin looked at Kevin with amusement, "Mmm, I mean.. Can I go?" Kevin asked. Jimin come out from his thoughts, "Yeah! yeah, Why not? You can. I'll wait for you downstairs then."  

Kevin entered into Jungkook's room and saw he is sleeping peacefully which makes him halt on his steps. "I can't even sleep if I wanted to. He is sleeping peacefully. He has everything and I don't. The more I be with him, the more I feel left out. He is so lucky, I'm cursed" 

He couldn't help but think that way. The similarities he has with Jungkook, make him compare himself with Jungkook. He make his way to Jungkook, shaking him a little bit. He isn't angry with Jungkook, doesn't envy. But he felt so sorry for himself. He is just unlucky. He is really angry at himself and the more he see Jungkook, he just hate himself more. That's what his innocent mind is doing. 

He shake Jungkook to wake up. Jungkook is in heavy sleep, which didn't make him wake up. He shake him little more, "Jungkook... Wake up... Jimin sir called us...." He said. He somehow managed to wake up the boy from his sleep. 

Until Jungkook get ready, Kevin was alone inside Jungkook's room. He explored it. His little heart is heavy. May be he is angry with whole damn world. So much luxury, so much happiness, so much love for one single person, But nothing for other. He caress the Jungkook's new pc, which he played games. He is really sad. He just want to vanish. The physical pain is so much better than this emotional struggle. He want to get away from this pain. The unwanted, out of place feeling. 

(Self harm ahead; Self harm is not a thing to do. If you ever feel that way, It's not okay, Definitely, there is at least one person you can rely on. Just find them. Hold on tight until that day)

That's the reason he was in his washroom, standing in front of mirror holding a blade, which he took from Jungkook. This is going to make him feel better. He knew it. Angry tears fell from his eyes. He make a sharp line across his wrist. He is watching how the red liquid paints the wash basin, until a knock was heard on his washroom door.

"Hey, Kevin I am ready dude. Let's go" Jungkook shouted behind the door. "Coming!" Kevin said as he opened the tap washing his hand and face and wiping the face in his hoodie. 

"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked as he saw the Kevin. He look a bit off for Jungkook. "Yeah! Just sleepy" Kevin said as both of the boys head downstairs. 

In the dining room

"You both are late." J hope said. "Did Jungkook give hard time for you Kevin?" Jimin asked as he ruffled Jungkook's hair, "I didn't Hyung!...." Jungkook replied. "Okay, Okay" Jimin said. "Let's  dig in. Next time be on time." Jin said calmly as he examined Kevin which is totally different than last night. Jin is so surprised. He can't really find a one personality in him. It is changing. Sometimes he is quite, refused to interact and obey. Other end he is stubborn, argue and misbehave. 

Jin look at Kevin who just sit in his usual place and start eating whatever on his plate, without even looking. He wants to ask the boy what is wrong with him, but he didn't at the moment. At least he is eating. After the meal, Jungkook went to school and It's Hobi's turn to stay with Kevin. 

After all that, Kevin try to leave for his room. "Hey Kevin, Let's go to library" Hoesek said. Kevin look up to Hoesek, "Come on" He said and guide Kevin to library upstairs. It is a medium size library which is now according to Namjoon's planning, but previously to their Mother's. 

"Go and have a look, I'll sit  here" Hoesek said as he sit in a table. He get to know of his liking to books from Jin. Kevin is happy that he get to look at a fancy library than there public school libraries. He was in the library among the books most of the time. He just explore everything and found some novels that he died to find, but couldn't. 

He slowly come near J hope, who is now reading a magazine. "Sir... "Kevin broke the silence. J hope look at the boy through his reading glasses, he is like a strict teacher with that specs. But he smiled warmly, "Yes love" "Can I get a book from here?." He asked in a low voice, expecting nothing. 

Hobi chuckled softly, "Of course, You can bub, It's all yours" He paused for a bit before continue, " But How about we have a small maths lesson before?" Hoesek said. Kevin nodded. He is going to have the book and he didn't dare to say no at that moment. "Sit down then" Hobi said. As soon as that, Kevin was scared, " Is he going to ask me something I don't know, So they can find a way to beat me" He gulped. "Don't be scared, I'm just trying to know your level dear, nothing else" J hope said. 

Kevin stared at Hoesek's calm movements, when he place a notebook and a pen in front of him. "Okay, buddy Can you tell me what is the last part you learned in the previous school?" Hoesek asked. 

"I don't know" Kevin said. Hoesek raised his brows in confusion, at the boy but asked calmly. "Do you remember the last lesson you learned?" 

Kevin look at Hoesek's eyes, but lowered his gaze, mumbling a quite "Quadric Equations"  

"Mm, Okay That's great! I will give you some easy sums to solve" Hoesek said, taking out a his text book, showing Kevin the exercise. Kevin look at the sums, he know how to solve most of it. He solve as much as he can. 

Hoesek didn't want him to solve even a one sum. He thought low about the boy. Can't blame him. That's how everyone assumes with his behavior. He gave him more than enough time to solve the first five sums, but Kevin managed to solve most of the exercise. 

"Are you finished buddy?, I think time is enough now" Hoesek grinned. Kevin put the pen down quickly and glanced down. "It's okay" Hoesek reassured while taking the book. Hoesek saw the notebook and it is not the one  what he assumed. He glanced at the boy one more time, before averting his gaze back to the book.

"Really Kevin?" Hoesek asked in amusement. "I'm sorry sir.. Please..." Kevin stuttered slowly. "For what Kevin?"  Hoesek asked now looking at the boy. Kevin look at him in his doe eyes because of that calm tone of the elder. 

"You did so well. I'm so proud of you" Hoesek praised. Kevin was stunned. He look at the elder like if he was real. Even though he solved questions in previous classes, no one praised him. Everyone just scold him more looking at he is doing well.

Hoesek look at the book again, admiring the work. To his professional eyes, he saw how much long methods he is using. It is like the methods in the text book. 

"Who taught you this Kevin?" Hoesek asked. Any Maths teacher would teach their kids some tricks, not copy pasting the text book. Kevin look down, "The teacher" he simply said. 

"Alright, I will show you some easy ways to solve this. I'm sure you'll get it" Hoesek said explaining the topic. Things that Kevin learn are lot more easier than he thought. He struggled hours without any guidance to learn how to solve. But Hoesek sir made it very easy. He was happy and sad at the same time.

Hoesek let him go after the quick maths lesson. He don't want to overwhelm the boy. He was happy seeing him not falling behind in academics. He is all good after little adjustments. He will definitely gonna tell this to others as well.

Tell me about the chapter guys. I will so busy lately. Lot of things happened and happening. I tried to do my best in this chapter too. I feel like story is lagging a bit.
