Yoongi raised his eyebrows looking at the Kevin. "Kevin, let go him" Hoesek talked trying to cool down the situation. "YOU GUYS ARE FUCKING STUPID!" Kevin shouted. Jungkook flinched at the sudden shout. "Whom do you thing you are talking to?" Taehyung asked in his fierce voice, getting up. "To you stupid!"
"Kevin, mind your language" Taehyung said. "Kevin, let go of me" Jungkook said trying to free himself from Kevin's hard grip. "NO! No one is hurting you!" Kevin said. Yoongi come forward, "Jungkook is my brother Kevin, I don't hurt him, not in my dreams. I'll protect him till my last breath. That doesn't mean, I will not correct him when he is wrong. He is harming himself waking up all the night and do you think it's a good thing?" Yoongi said, not so soft. Kevin understand. But, "Fuck you" Kevin spat lowly. Even Jimin was angry at Kevin, He cant understand how Yoongi and Jin is composing themselves. Taehyung is furious, but if Yoongi is in charge and Taehyung backed away. But Namjoon couldn't stay back.
"Stop talking in that language!" Namjoon said sharply. "I will not!" Kevin argued back. "Do you think you can win us over" Namjoon asked with same piercing voice. "You are not touching him! It's me, Not him" Kevin said. "Oh really, Let's do one thing and asked him. Jungkook, Did he forced you? And don't even think about lying in our faces" Namjoon said, he never changed his tone, he is furious from the start. Kevin cursed at Yoongi was his limit. How could he?
On the other hand, with all the commotion Jungkook was overwhelmed, he don't know what to do other than crying. Seeing his all the hyungs' angry faces, he can see how angry and upset everyone is. He cried out, "No! Hyungie"
"See, he is not and you are lying Kevin" Namjoon said unsympathetically. "He is scared of you moron!" Kevin spat. Jungkook and others are surprised with the boy's bravery. Jungkook doesn't like it someone talking to their brothers that way. It's their fault and Kevin is behaving like it wasn't.
"Kevin let go of me" Jungkook said wiping his tears from his free hand. "It's okay Jungkook, don't be scared" Kevin said. "I'm not scared" Jungkook said, trying to sound confident. "Stop calling me that! I'm not" Kevin slightly back away, but, "It's okay, I'll protect you" Kevin said trying to assure Jungkook. "From whom Kevin?" Jungkook asked. Kevin give his full attention to Jungkook, "From whom?" Jungkook asked again. "Him, he is trying.." "He is my brother Kevin, You know nothing about any of them. Do you think they'll hurt me? You must be insane. They are my brothers, and I know them better than you. So, let go of me!" Jungkook said, trying to remove his hand from Kevin's harsh grip. Kevin let go of his hand slowly. Everything sink in. It's the truth. He know nothing. He doesn't belong here. He is a bad luck that came to destroy other's happiness. His sir was true. He is just vanishing all the happiness in this family.
"I'm sorry" he said to Jungkook, Jungkook, didn't accept it, he just turn around and leave for his Yoongi Hyung's room. Kevin felt like a shit. like he always feel. He is ashamed. But he can't shake the feeling of Jungkook getting hurt behind the Yoongi's door. He is at fault. Not Jungkook. Kevin was frustrated. Everything is out of control. He don't know how to convince them, how to protect Jungkook.
"You are just useless. pathetic. see yourself. you are nothing but a burden. Troubling everyone around you. Your father is correct. You deserve punishment. You deserve pain. You are not worth any love. You should die. You should just free this world from your pathetic self. Stupid! What are you waiting for? No one trusts you. No one! die! die!"
"N..o" he mumbled slightly, looking at the direction Jungkook left. Jin came forward placing his hand on Kevin's shoulder. "Kevin, go to your room okay" he softly said.
Kevin came out of his thoughts due to sudden touch. "It's mee.. It's not him.. Please.. Don't do anything to him... I convince him.. He always worried of disobeying you. Because of me... Please.. Its me... Please sir... I'm sorry... I'll be good.. please.. sir.. please..." He said, trying to catch his breath. For a moment, Others thought he was acting to getting sympathy, but not Jin. Jin knows what might have crossed the poor boy's mind. He observed the boy, from the day he arrived.
"It's fine. Kevin, No one is hurting anyone, and no one is getting hurt.. I promise" Jin said, trying to hold Kevin's now trembling hands. Kevin's mind was not in his control. anymore. Someone is talking inside his head and it's hurting him. "No I'm not" Kevin mumbled. His breathing got heavier. "Hey listen to me.." Jin tried and Kevin look up, and he go towards Yoongi who was standing just few feets away. "Sir, Don't hurt JK, It's me.. I'm sorry.. But not him.." Kevin is crying. His eyes are all watered. "Pathetic"
"No" Kevin said louldly this time. Yoongi raised his eyebrows at the shout. "No, no, I'm sorry sir, please don't hurt him.."
"We talked about this Kevin" Yoongi said calmly yet warningly. "I said I'm sorry.. He is not at fault. Why no one get it?" Kevin helplessly stated. "Because you are a liar" " No, I'm not. I'll be good, please" Kevin kneel down in front of Yoongi surprising everyone.
Others couldn't get what the hell Kevin was talking about. His broken speech! Jin was the first to get a glimpse of the situation. He kneeled down near the boy and hold his shoulders.
"Listen to me Kevin. Jungkook is okay. He is alright. So are you" Jin tried. "I'm sorry.. I'll be better.. I'm sorry.. I'll do that.." Kevin mumbled while breathing heavily. "Hey baby.. Kevin-aa listen to Hyung love.. Kevin.. You are fine. Listen to me. bub. You are okay." Jin is trying to calm down the boy. But all in vein. Others are shocked, Yoongi too crouched down and try to comfort the boy. But Kevin was far away of listening to any one. He is trapped inside his head. He is just mumbling the same apologies over and over which is totally the opposite of boy who was here few minutes ago. He is just apologizing. At last all the comforting and efforts are ruined as Kevin knocked out in Jin's arms.
"What the actual hell was that?, He is so lost" Hoesek said. Jin just leave for Kevin's room placing the boy on the bed. After placing the boy on the bed Jin wiped his silent tears out of his face. He was sad. He is so much sad. His little brother!
"Someone go and look for Jungkook And no one punishes him. It's enough" Jin said. "But Hyung.."
"Namjoon, Are you hearing yourself, It's enough already. Just for him" Jin said looking at the laying boy in front of him. He can't shake off how much deparate Kevin was. Namjoon nodded. Jimin is the one to left to Yoongi's room to check up on Jungkook.
"Will he trust us Hyung? Looks like he never will" Taehyung said. "It's just two weeks, It's not easy to bring that lost trust of 10 whole years. He must be waited for any of us to show up and we never. And How do you think it is going to be so easy?" Jin said. He is not only talking to others, he is talking to himself as well.
"And one more thing guys, I'm gonna talk to him about everything. I think it's good he knows that we are not unaware of him. It can be helpful for him. And one more thing, Yoongi, We are going to let him meet that person"
"Huh?, He betrayed him Hyung. A little kid." Yoongi said in confusion. "I know what I'm talking about. Hitting around the bush is enough. We have to address the fact. It will help his mind to trust us." Jin said to which Yoongi nodded.
