Chapter 60

Kevin slowly opened his eyes, to get startled by Jin who is looking at him. "Very Good morning Kevin!, Did you sleep well?" Jin asked. Kevin nodded his head. "Glad to to hear that bud" Jin softly caressed Kevin's hand, that Kevin pulled out instantly, mumbling a sorry. 

"So, you can fresh up okay, Then let's have breakfast. I'll wait for you here, Is that okay?" Jin again asked. "You can go, I'll come" Kevin softly said. He remembers how he troubled the man, he can't accept more. Doesn't matter, if he is doing this for real or just to break him more. But he is grateful for him to stay a night beside him. "You sure baby?" Jin asked softly, In other side Jin doesn't want to overwhelm the boy. He can have a idea what boy must be thinking, but he will leave him and give him some space. Kevin nodded softly at Jin. "Alright then, you shower, then we will eat" Jin spoke and leave closing the door behind. 

In the living room

Jin come and sat down tiredly in the sofa. "Hyung you good?" Namjoon asked. "Yeah, just sleepy" Jin muttered resting his head. Hoesek come downstairs after washing up. His face was worried and concerned, 

"Hyung, The thing Kevin said in night_" He was cut off by Yoongi, "What about it?, I'll just make it disappear, I don't care who he killed or anything, I will take care of it" Yoongi harshly said. "Shut up Yoongi. Mind where you are at!" Jin firmly stated. He doesn't want anyone to hear it nor the maids, nor the Kevin. "Sorry hyung" Yoongi mumbled, "I don't think he kill anyone, may be he was just guilty, It's hard to figure out though" Jin said. 

"Did you guys had breakfast?" Jin asked after a few moments, "No, we were waiting for you guys" Namjoon answered. Jin exhaled softly, this are his brothers, no wonder they stay hungry until almost noon, "Jungkook?" Jin asked, "He ate chips and said he isn't hungry" Namjoon again replied. "Seriously, chips in the morning. Call him for breakfast as well" Jin said and rest his head again.  

Kevin after thinking thousands times decide to go downstairs, it's not like he forget anything. Jungkook is angry with him, Yoongi and Jin came to pick him up, and Jin and Hoesek stayed night with him, He woke up in a nightmare and say something about what happened back. He must be so stupid. He cursed his weak self, Can't he just hide. How can he hide when those people have constant eyes on him. Back then he have freedom, at least to cry or hide, now it's different. They need him to eat, sleep and even gave him snacks, it's not easy for him to adjust. Everything felt overwhelming. 

When he came downstairs, most of them are on the sofa. Some are in their phones, while others are in the laptops. Jimin was the first one to notice him. "Oh, Kevin" he muttered. Jin straightened up and asked, "You hungry?, Let's go and eat okay?" Kevin just nodded. In that moment, he caught Jungkook's eyes for a second, but even before anything happen, Kevin lowered his gaze. Jungkook was angry because Kevin spoke like that with his hyungs, but he can understand Kevin is sad and angry for what happened with him in his childhood. And he is ready to smile with him, but Kevin just look away from him making everything bit hard. 

Taehyung too explained him about, how Kevin is sad and hurt because how his father treated him. So, he is genuine about forgive Kevin and not feeling any anger towards him. "Let's go then" Jin stood up and everyone followed him. 

After  2 days

Someone always stay with Kevin at night, despite Kevin's liking. But it doesn't stop the nightmares, but when he wake up there is always someone behind him, that would say it's okay. Kevin didn't even know what to feel about it. He is happy and he is sure they are different.

 Despite all this, It's being quite ignorance with Kevin and Jungkook for past days. Jungkook even tried to talk with him but Kevin just completely ignore him without uttering a word. Jungkook get home from school with Namjoon and Hobi. Kevin was in the living area watching a movie that put on by Jimin earlier. Jungkook came there and saw him. He gulped a little before approaching Kevin from behind. 

"mm.. Hey Kevin!" Kevin who got startled cuz he was fully engulfed in the movie. "mm...I just want to say that I'm sorry for what happened and.." he was cut off by Kevin who got up and leave towards his room. That hurt Jungkook. He was trying so hard to control his tears, when Namjoon and Hobi came and patted his head. 

He hugged Namjoon who was just patted his head and cried softly. He  is sad and don't even know how to make it right. He want Kevin to talk to him normally. He don't understand what did he do to get such treatment from him. He did talk back and shouted at his hyungs before, but no one ignore him like this. They may punish him but not this type of ignorance. 

"Hey, It's okay buddy. Let's talk to him" Namjoon said. He saw the distance between those two and he got that he need to do something about it. "No! He'll be more angry hyung. I don't know why he is  this much angry" Jungkook muttered against Namjoon's chest. "Well, I'll talk to him, You don't worry" 

Kook nodded slightly. Namjoon liked to always made Jungkook independent, but with Kevin, as Jin and others agreed to be little careful. They don't want Kevin to beat up Jungkook or do anything bad, Not to say they are still scared about it. 

As Namjoon climbed up the stairs, Jungkook sat down and wait for him. He couldn't bring himself to go to his room, he don't want to listen, Kevin saying how bad he is and how he don't wanna talk to Jungkook. He will be angry or sad. He don't want to be angry with him knowing how Kevin's life had been. No he wanna make himself sad too. 

Namjoon knocked on Kevin's door. A little soft knock. Kevin perked up his ears and said a little yes. Kevin didn't misbehave once after the incident in the night. But he doesn't really behave either. His defiant is visible, But others can see that boy is unsure about what to do. Namjoon heard the faint yes, that he opened the door carefully, not wanting to startle the boy. 

He was sitting on the bed, doing nothing. "Hi!" Namjoon greeted. Kevin nodded his head. And the other thing with Kevin is he doesn't talk much. He most of the time nodded his head, unless it's really an question that need a answer. If he doesn't like to answer, he will stay silent for any long. Which is a disrespectful act, but all of them ignored that thinking he need time. 

"Well, Kevin I want to talk about Jungkook" Namjoon said carefully.  Kevin didn't react.  Namjoon took a dee breath before, "You know, It's okay to be quiet, Most of the time I do too. But it's different from ignoring. It can hurt others" Even though Kevin didn't react he listened to him. 

"He got angry that day, which anyone can be, because he love all of his brothers very much." Namjoon lean against the wall and continued. "May be you understand that, Jungkook is trying" 

"He cried?" Kevin asked softly, still not looking at Namjoon. "Yeah, he isn't used to get ignored you know. And I think it's time to move on, forgetting it. But I'm not forcing you or anything, it's just Jungkook is sad and he really want to make it up to you"

"He isn't wrong, I am. He'd be good without me" Kevin said. Namjoon's eyes widened, this is different, polar opposite of what they thought. But he is fast enough to calm himself, "No one thinks so Kev. Infact, I think Jungkook would be much more happy if you are with him." Namjoon said in a firm yet soft voice. Kevin just kept quiet. "Well, if that's the reason I hope you don't think that way, because it's not the truth and you would talk with him like before." Namjoon said before leaving the room closing the door behind. 

He exhaled before leaving to his room, Everything is complex than he thought. How can they make it right?
