(*Caleb's POV *)

I grabbed her hand as we ran to my car, I could hear her scream. I smiled slightly.

" Where did the rain come from?" She said, laughing.

I saw her shivering, so I turned the heater on and gave her my hoodie.

She pulled it over her head and brought her hands to her face. I smiled at her, and pulled her hand away, intertwining it with mine.

"You ready?" I asked her.

She nodded and we drove off. I hope it stops raining before we get to the cemetery.

"Are you sure you're OK driving in this?" She asked, looking out the window where the rain was still coming down.

"Yeah, we're almost there..." I said, keeping my eyes on the road.

We drove into the cemetery when the rain turned into a drizzle and the sun shined through the clouds.

"That's weird." I said as I put the car in park.

I walked over to her door and let her out.

"Is this where she is?" She asked me, looking for her head stone.

I walked to my sister's grave and Mariah followed me.

"Happy Birthday Allison." I whispered as I laid the rose on her grave, along with the tiny pink balloon I got her.

Mariah set down the blanket and sat on it, patting the space next to her.

"Hi Allison." She said, rubbing the head stone.

I looked at her smiling at my sister's grave and I turned away, not wanting her to see me cry.

"She would've liked you." I whispered to her.

I felt her grab my hand. "Will you tell me about her?" She asked, playing with my fingers.

"What do you want to know?" I asked her.

"Everything!" She said, smiling.

I smiled slightly and pulled her into my chest.

I took a deep breath and began.

"She had big beautiful brown eyes. Her hair was always up in pigtails. She had the sweetest smile. And she was perfect." I said, reliving memories. "I was 6 when she was born, I remember holding her in my arms, promising her that I would protect her. But I couldn't." I said.

I felt her gently squeeze my hand and I continued.

"When I was 14, she got hit by a car, trying to cross the street." I felt myself choking up.

"Shhh, its OK." She whispered, trying to soothe me.

"I promised to protect her and I couldn't." I finished.

"This isn't your fault." She told me. "Don't blame yourself." She whispered.

I looked into her eyes. "I love you Mariah." I told her, leaning into her.

She smiled slightly. "I love you too Caleb." She closed her eyes and I smiled, gently cradling her face.

(*Mariah's POV*)

Caleb leaned into me and I felt his hand on my face, I let his lips touch mine.

Kissing Caleb was different from kissing Tyler, Tyler was hesitant and Caleb wasn't. Caleb licked my lips and I slightly opened my mouth, letting him in.

He was good at this. REALLY good at this. I couldn't help but smile. I grabbed a fistful of his hair, bringing him closer. I broke the kiss, and leaned my forehead on his.

I giggled softly.

"What? Was it bad?" He asked.

I laughed and shook my head.

"It was perfect." I told him, running my hand through his hair.

He smiled big. "I love you." He said, pecking me on the lips.

"I love you too." I whispered, looking away.

"Whats wrong?" He asked, playing with my hair.

"Tyler." I said, looking back at him.

He nodded, knowingly, looking into the distance.

I love Caleb, but I love Tyler too...
