(*Tyler's POV*)
I woke up to running water.
I opened my eyes slightly to see that Mariah wasn't there.
I went into the kitchen and saw the knife drawer open.
My heart dropped into my stomach.
Mariah and I were the only ones home, my parents went to work.
I ran to the bathroom door trying to open it.
The door was locked.
I panicked.
"Mariah!!!" I yelled pounding on the door.
"Mariah please don't do this!!!" I screamed trying to tackle the door down.
Pain shot through my shoulder, but I didn't care. I had to get to Mariah.
I rammed into the door.
I knocked it down and fell on the floor.
"Too late." She whispered, blood coming down from her wrist and arm. Tears streaming down her face.
I got up and turned off the water.
Not caring that she was naked in the tub.
I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her.
Trying not to cry.
I walked her to my room and let her sit on my bed as I went to get the hydrogen peroxide to clean her cut.
The blood was blocking her cut but when I cleaned it up, I could see the word she spelt out.
"Broken."
We didn't talk for awhile.
Then she broke the silence.
"I'm sorry." She whispered sincerely.
I shook my head.
"Why?" I asked, my voice breaking.
"Because it hurts!" She screamed, pointing at her heart.
"Because I can't heal! Because I still love him, even if he hurt me! Because I'm broken!" She yelled, tears running down her face.
I grabbed her and pulled her into me.
When she said that, I knew it was about Justin.
"I still love him Tyler." She whispered.
"Something's wrong with me." She said.
My heart ached.
She still loves him.
Her depression is back. I know it.
I need to keep an eye on her.
She laid on the bed as I hummed her to sleep.
I moved away slowly and went into the bathroom, where the evidence was still there.
Inside the tub, the water was light pink where the blood mixed into it.
The knife was on the ground, covered in Riah's blood.
I felt tears in my eyes.
I didn't think I would have to do it all again.
The tiles were stained where she let her blood drip.
I was angry and I was sad.
After I cleaned up I walked into my room and woke Riah up.
