(*Mariah's P.O.V*)
I let go of Tyler's arm as he dropped me off to math.
"I'll pick you up after class" he said as I felt his arm slip away from mine.
"Blah blah blah, she already knows Tyler" Jade said as she pulled me into class. I smiled sympathetically at Tyler who looked down at the ground and smirked. Jade stuck her head out the door one last time and winked at Tyler.
"Dont worry, I'll take care of her" Jade looked at Tyler, and Tyler nodded
"Bye Riah" he said and began walking away
I turned and followed Jade to the back of class, I looked at her and scrunched my eyebrows.
"What?!" She said, acting clueless, but I could see her hiding the smirk on her face.
"You and Tyler... What was that about?" I asked, a million thoughts running through my mind.
"Nothing" she said softly, class was starting.
"Liar" I whispered.
Jade smiled to herself. "We just... Understand each other, that's all" She looked at me, like she was searching for answers and they were written on my face.
I put my hand on her arm "Jade, what's wrong?" I asked her, concern threading in my voice.
She laughed a little and swiped at her eyes.
"You'll find out sooner or later" She sniffed a little and I felt an ache in my heart. I hate seeing people hurting, especially if it's my friends...

As class went on I heard the front door open and looked up.
"New student" People started whispering, trying to check out whoever just came in. I saw the boys look up to the door and then back to their desk groaning. At that moment I knew he was a boy.
"Whoa" I whispered to Jade "Would you look at him." I heard Jade suck in a breath next to me and I giggled a little.
"Class, this is Caleb" The teacher said in his boring monotone voice.
I heard all the girls giggling and saying Hey. I rolled my eyes, I'll admit Caleb is cute but he's too full of himself. He's a flirt, he went up to Tracy, the most beautiful girl in class and whispered in her ear, he looked at her with those green eyes and winked, I heard Tracy breathing really hard.
I looked over at Jade with my "Can you believe this guy?" face and she looked back at me shaking her head, disappointment in her face.
Caleb sat next to me, it was the only seat left.
"Sup" He gave me a small smile as he sat down. I looked at him and nodded, hoping my emotions won't betray me, that smile was perfect, and his eyes are so green, I feel like they can see right through me.
He tried to make conversation with me, but honestly after that act with Tracy, I did NOT want to be involved with this guy whatsoever.
The bell rang and I gathered my books, I tripped over my own two feet and my books fell everywhere.
"Crap" I muttered to myself.
I got down on my knees and began to pick up my books.
Caleb knelt down and picked up my personal journal which was open. He began to read it. I snatched it away from him and gathered the rest of my books on the floor.
"Your Welcome!" He yelled after me as I went to meet up with Tyler who was waiting for me outside of class. I turned around and smiled at him "Thanks for nothing!" I shouted with fake joy in my voice. I saw him smile that little smile that was so perfectly shaped.
"How was class?" Tyler said, eyeing out Caleb, he must've saw the encounter.
I grabbed his arm and walked him away from my last class, I grabbed his chin so he would look at me instead of Caleb, who saw me walking away with Tyler, his eyes scanned the both of us from top to bottom.
"It was fine" I said tippy toeing so I'm looking him in the eyes. He smiled as we walked to his car
"Lunch?" He asked me as he opened the door to let me in.
As if on cue, my stomach growled.
Tyler chuckled "Is that a yes?" He said, talking to my belly. I laughed and playfully pushed him away, as he walked to the drivers seat.
I looked up and I saw Jade and Caleb talking to each other. I smiled to myself, they match. Caleb with his green eyes, close cut brown hair and toned body. Jade with her hazel eyes, dirty blonde straight hair and curvy figure.
As I stared longer, I could see that Caleb was flirting with Jade by the way she blushed as Caleb leaned into her.
This guy is too comfortable. He knows what to do and say to grab a girl's attention, and in the end those are the type of guys that leave you with a broken heart.
Memories start to surface back up and a tear escapes my eye.
"What's wrong?" Tyler asked, wiping away the tear with his thumb.
I smiled sadly.
"Oh" Tyler mumbled softly, understanding.
"Yeah" I nodded.
"Don't worry about it" He said with a genuine smile."There's someone out there for everyone."
