(*Mariah's POV*)

"What's me?" Tyler asked.

I was still on top of him.

"You're the-"

Jade barged in.

"Whoa!" She said, shielding her eyes.

Tyler and I looked up from where we were.

"First you kiss Caleb and now you're trying to get it on with Tyler?" She asked.

I smiled slightly.

"There's this thing called knocking..." Tyler said as he helped me up.

"This is a hospital not a house I don't need to knock." Jade answered.

They always did this, they battle until someone says something so that the other person can't challenge what they said.

"So if someone was having surgery you would just barge in?" Tyler asked.

"Why would I barge in on someone having surgery?"

"Because this is a hospital and you think that you don't have to knock."

"I don't want to interrupt the surgeons."

"So would you knock or barge in?" Tyler asked.

Jade paused slightly and I smiled, knowing that Tyler won.

"Ugh you win this time Ty." She said, squinting her eyes.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I tried to balance on Tyler.

"Actually..." Justin said coming in.

"I was gonna warn you." Jade whispered towards me.

I felt Tyler stiffen.

I placed my hand on his arm until I felt him relax underneath my touch.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

I still remembered when I visited him, the same time I got hit by a car.

If I didn't care enough to go visit him, would I still be where I am?

Would I still be getting physical therapy and suffering from all the pain?

"I wanted to see if you were ok." He told me.

Jade walked out. Leaving me, Tyler and Justin alone.

"Does she look ok?" Tyler asked, I could hear the anger in his voice.

Justin looked down to the floor.

Stupid question.

"I'll meet you outside." I told Tyler.

He nodded slightly and walked passed Justin, bumping into him.

I saw Justin close his eyes, trying to calm himself.

I slowly sat down on the stool.

"What do you want Justin?" I asked him.

"I wanted to apologize." He said, walking towards me.

"When I said I was done I meant it." I told him.

I was over it. I'm done crying over people who aren't worth it. I was done being played with like a toy.

"Just hear me out." He pleaded.

I didn't say anything, so he continued.

"I didn't mean to kiss that girl at prom, she came up to me." He said.
