"Come in," she called, smoothing the fabric of her lavender gown as she prepared to greet her visitor.

The door creaked open, revealing Taehyung, his expression a mix of seriousness and determination. "Jiseul," he said, stepping inside and closing the door behind him. "We need to talk."

Jiseul sensed the urgency in his tone and motioned for him to sit after ordering the single maid in her room to leave. "What's on your mind?"

Taehyung examined her face and then sighed. His gaze drifting to the window as if the moonlight held answers. "It's about Harin. Something is really not right about her." he said looking at her again, he just wanted to air some tension and concern but didn't want to just tell everything that happened between the two of them, he determined to handle that thing himself.

Jiseul raised an eyebrow, she got fully conscious. "What do you mean?"

"I don't know, it's just a sense. She seems too composed, too confident for a maid. I can't help but feel she's playing a part." His voice was low, laced with confidence and determination, as if he knew how much right he was.

"Taehyung," Jiseul began gently, "she's just adjusting to her new life here. You've seen how hard she works and how she carries herself. She's innocent." she said before sighing keeping in sight that harin just shifted in the castle.

He shook his head, frustration evident in the furrow of his brow. "You don't understand. This palace is filled with deceit, and anyone can wear a mask. I want you to keep an eye on her. May be- May be she is playing with us all but is involved with Minhee"

Jiseul reached out, placing a reassuring hand on his arm. "It's just the game of your mind. Harin is not your enemy. You're letting your worries cloud your judgment."

"But—"

"No 'buts,'" she interrupted firmly but kindly. "Trust me on this. She's harmless. You need to focus on the council and the real threats around us, not on a maid."

Taehyung sighed in defeat, but the frustration was evident in his eyes just if Jiseul tried to capture that. "I hope you're right, Jiseul. I just can't help but feel that there's more to her than meets the eye."

With a sigh, Jiseul nodded, knowing she had to trust her instincts. "Let's not jump to conclusions. Besides, if she does prove to be more than she seems, we'll handle it together."

Taehyung raised his eyes to look at his sister who was now looking at the window...

"Alright then, have a good sleep" He said and left without waiting for reply, Jiseul looked at the opened door, sighing and then her maid entered in the chamber...
