Malcolm Bates: Jeffrey has Oliver always been like this.
Jeff Matthews: Yes, I don't know why. He's reading his vows, not reciting Pride and Prejudice.
Oliver Troughton: You have anything to calm my nerves.
Jeff Matthews: I have my medicinal weed, but i need it for my PTSD.
Malcolm Bates: I'd have brought a balloon if I'd knew you'd be like this, or I'd have phoned the council to power their windfarms.
William Sugden: She's about to walk down the aisle, just a heads up.
Oliver Troughton: Thanks, Mr Sugden.
(The music starts as Kathy is walked down the aisle and placed alongside Oliver)
Reverend Lyndon Fowler: Dear beloved, we gather here today to witness the union of Oliver and Kathy in holy matrimony. They have chosen to embark on this journey of love and commitment, surrounded by their cherished family and friends. Oliver, Kathy, today, you declare your love and devotion to each other in the presence of all who have been touched by your lives. May your love shine brighter with each passing day, inspiring those around you and bringing joy to your hearts.
(Julia and Malcolm smile at each other)
Reverend Lyndon Fowler: Do you, Oliver Adrian Troughton, take Katherine Elizabeth Bates to be your lawfully wedded wife? To love, honour, and cherish her, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, for better or worse, as long as you both shall live?
Oliver Troughton: I do.
Reverend Lyndon Fowler: Do you Katherine Elizabeth Bates take Oliver Adrian Troughton to be your lawful wedded husband, To love, honor, and cherish him, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, for better or worse, as long as you both shall live?
Kathy Bates: I do.
Reverend Lyndon Fowler: now you make your vows on which your marriage will be based.
Oliver Troughton: (voice filled with emotion) Kathy, from the moment our paths crossed four years ago, my life transformed into a beautiful tapestry of love and happiness. You are my rock, my inspiration, and my soulmate. And today, I stand here before you, overwhelmed with gratitude for the love we share. I promise to love you unconditionally, to cherish and support you through every triumph and challenge. I vow to be your partner, your confidant, and your best friend. I will stand by your side, holding your hand through all the joys and sorrows that life may bring. That is my pledge.
Kathy Troughton: (tearfully) Oliver, you have brought light into my life in ways I never imagined possible. Your love has healed my heart, and your presence has given me strength. Today, I stand here in awe of the beautiful journey we are about to embark upon. I promise to love you fiercely, to honour and respect you with every beat of my heart. (Jeff hands the rings to the Reverend, who blesses them and hands them to Oliver and Kathy)

Oliver and Kathy exchange rings, their eyes locked, sealing their love.
Reverend Lyndon Fowler: By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now Kiss the Bride.
Oliver and Kathy share a tender, heartfelt kiss, their love and happiness radiating through the church. Applause erupts, filling the sacred space with a joyful celebration
