Aliara looked at Uma, who was now standing near the large mirror in her room, as they prepared for the juniors' farewell at school. "Ah- getting ready is tiring!" Uma exclaimed.

Belle walked out of the bathroom after hearing Uma, and briefly, Mariana entered from the side. "I need a red blush right now, Emergency!" she exclaimed, shocking the other three in the room as Uma handed her the shade she had requested.

"Wow, you didn't just say emergency for that," Aliara observed, glancing at Mariana, who was now applying it to her cheeks.

The others continued their preparations calmly until Belle received a call from Sofia, which confused her as she responded and walked out.

"Did she just say Sofia?" Uma enquired, and the other nodded in confusion. "When did they even get close?" she enquired, to which Aliara swiftly responded, "She lives close to her house, on the same street."

Mariana stared in confusion when she saw Belle on call, seeming irritated, but she quickly turned her face as Belle walked back. "The heck," she blurted first, capturing the attention of everyone in the room.

"What happened?" Enquired Aliara. "This has been going on for pretty long actually but she is making it worse" Belle hesitated for a time, glancing at Mariana before continuing.

"Do you talk to Federico?" she asked Mariana, causing her to raise her eyebrows in surprise. "Why? Mariana responded, "Like I used to, but he's more like a brother." Belle nodded.

"I do agree with Ivan; Sofia is overly possessive; she claims Mariana is after her MAN," Belle stated, emphasizing the term 'Man'.

Mariana scoffed slightly. "So they're in a relationship? Explains why Federico abruptly blocked me around four months ago, and for your information, we have not spoken since," she stated, as Aliara sighed deeply.

"Ivan was correct; it just gets worse. Sofia can't cling to any girl just because she chatted to Federico--is she under the impression that every girl wants him?" Aliara questioned, causing the other to chuckle out.

"Oh, please. Why me? I am older than him and was more like a sister to him, and we didn't talk after the varsity thing-- wait, it was immediately after they met, right?" Mariana questioned, and Uma nodded.

"Right that's when he blocked me- Oh it was her who blocked me, damn" Mariana chuckled at the unexpected findings, and the others shook their heads.

"That's for sure because she asked me to keep an eye on you so you don't get too close to Federico today," Belle remarked, leaving the others dumbfounded.

Mariana muttered only "Woah" before Uma intervened, "It's alright, let it be; she sounds like a deluded girl, and Federico doesn't appear to be all that pure either. So just let them be."

Uma's statement made the others giggle as she continued to discuss how they would undoubtedly not last more than a year and began to get ready.

But Uma's mind raced to what had to happen today, so she swiftly messaged Zara, who responded with a thumbs up, making her smirk secretly.

"Damn, they didn't just put a red carpet here!" Uma exclaimed as they approached the door to the event hall, which was now beautifully decorated. Aliara smiled at Uma's compliments before proudly replying,

"Of course, you can't expect any less from Aliara's deputy now can you?" Her remark made Guliana scoff, "Zara did everything and the head girl takes all the credit, it's called politics, I guess," she teased, causing Aliara to smack her arm as they entered.
