Adrija's POV
"No, it's just... please, let's focus on where we're going. I'll tell you everything afterwards."
He pulled his hand away from my thigh and gripped the steering wheel, his left hand resting against the window as he thoughtfully touched his mouth with his index finger.
He looked incredibly hot.
I couldn't resist him. If we were in London, we definitely would have stopped the car and kissed like there was no tomorrow.
After a playful back-and-forth, we finally reached the tallest building in Dehradun, home to one of the best restaurants in India.
I glanced at him, and he smiled warmly at me. He stepped out of the car, opened the door, and handed the keys to a valet.
He extended his arm, and I took it.
Together, we walked towards the entrance.
"Do you trust me?" he asked suddenly.
I looked up at him, surprised. "Of course! Why do you ask?"
He paused in front of the elevator. "Just believe me. Nothing will happen to you as long as I'm here. Let's go inside?"
After a moment of hesitation, I placed my hand in his. Inside the elevator, he adjusted my dress and pressed the button for the top floor.
As the elevator started moving, I felt a flutter of nerves in my stomach. I squeezed his arm tightly and closed my eyes.
He noticed my anxiety and wrapped me in a comforting hug. "It's okay. Remember when we met in London like this?"
I opened my eyes and smiled. "How do you remember every little thing? When we met, what we did... everything?"
He kissed my forehead gently. "Because I love you."
Before I could respond, the elevator doors slid open.
Stepping out, I was greeted by a breathtaking sight: the floor was adorned with rose petals, and candles flickered softly in the corners. A beautiful bouquet sat waiting for me.

"Welcome, ma'am. Today is all about you," he said, beaming.
I walked forward, my heart swelling with joy. The sweet scent of roses filled the air, and the entire restaurant was empty.
