Adved's POV

I followed through with the proposal I had imagined, and to my delight, she liked it.
I'm so happy today, she accepted me!
She accepted my proposal!!!

I looked at a picture of us from the venue.
It hit me that we would finally be together for good.
Feeling a mix of emotions, I soon drifted off to sleep, dreaming about our future.

Next Morning

I woke up to some noise and felt a little weight on my stomach.

When I opened my eyes, I saw Sitara jumping on me, trying to wake me up.

I pulled her onto the pillow and started tickling her.
She laughed loudly and tickled me back with her tiny hands.

We played like that until she cuddled up to me.
Just then, my sister-in-law walked in and said
"Sitara, I told you to wake your chachu, not join him in sleeping!"

We both laughed.
I teased as she tried to hide from her mother
"She's just like me!"

"Alright, you two, come downstairs quickly! Breakfast is ready!" my bhabhi called.

Sitara ran off with her mother, and I took a moment to open my phone.

I texted her:
Good morning, babe. Love you so much!

After finishing my morning routine, I headed downstairs.
It was only 9 AM, and I knew she was probably still sleeping like a koala.

Once I finished breakfast, I gathered everyone around
"I proposed to Adrija yesterday, and she said yes! I want all of you to visit her house and help arrange the marriage as soon as possible."

My brother grinned and teased
"Ahha, my lion! Well done! How about we get it done tomorrow?"

I felt myself blush, thinking, Yes, why wait for tomorrow?

But I kept my mouth shut.

My mother chimed in
"Let's go talk to her parents today."

My father nodded, and Mumma asked
"Are they free today? It might be too soon for preparations. Ask her if we can come tomorrow. Oh, wait, give me her mother's number. I'll ask her myself!"

She spoke so quickly, overflowing with excitement.

"Calm down, Mumma. Relax" I said, trying to keep things in check.

After I gave her the number, she called Adrija's mother and arranged a meeting for tomorrow.

Mumma said
"Adved, take me and your sister-in-law to the jewelry shop. We need to buy something for her,"

I felt my cheeks heat up but nodded in agreement.

Sitara took my phone to play with it, but suddenly it rang. She handed it to me, saying
"Chachu, is that Adleeja?"

She recognized her picture on the screen.

Before I could respond, my sister-in-law said
"Yes, but now she's your Adrija Chachi, okay Tara?"
