Lyra Stark - Goddess of War

Chapter 9

Loki looks to Lyra. He waits that she asks him her questions. Lyra can see that he returns the day in his head. She doesn't see him as a monster but as a bad person. But a bad person can get better. She meets a real monster in Hydra.
„My first question is easy. What did you mean with emotional power?", Lyra asks. She wants to know more about herself. She knows that being their sister makes it possible to have powers. But she needs to know more about this. Loki looks at her. He nods and is calm.
„I will answer all your questions as good it's possible for me", Loki begins to tell, „I have seen your eyes changing. I can feel magical power from you. Your powers are connected with your emotions. Like today as you exploded." He sets a few steps. „You need time and training to get the control. Mother would be the best option."
„I don't go to Asgard", Lyra says and looks at both men, „I don't leave my father or my friends. I will go to school tomorrow, like a normal girl. This is what I want." It wasn't an option for her to leave her home.
„If you let me out, I could train you", Loki suggests. Thor glares at him.
„Do you think we are dumb? I bring you back to Asgard today", he says. Lyra looks at her mobile phone.
„We have 15 minutes left before dad comes to get me", Lyra informs Thor. Thor nods and steps back.
„Next question. Why did you attack the earth and destroyed so many places? This makes no sense to me. And your eyes change too. As you kidnapped me, they were blue. Now your eyes are green", Lyra mumbles and doesn't understand this. He was her brother but adopted, so this couldn't be a genetically.
„I can't answer this question. I would prefer when you ask me another question", Loki tells. Lyra thought for the next question.
„I... don't have another question now", Lyra mumbles, „I wanted to know who you are. You are my brother, like Thor. But we don't had a good start and I believe that you are not a monster like others tells me. I have seen monsters in my childhood, and I don't know if I am not one of these monsters. I can't remember my life before my fifth year of age." Loki looks surprised at Lyra. She believes to see a shimmer of hope in his eyes.
„I would like to know you in future", she says and smiles weak, „I have seen how Thor look when someone spell your name. I want also you both to have this look by hearing my name." She was able to see that Thor loves Loki, even after this. Lyra was sure, that Thor would have forbidden her to meet life, if he hates Loki.
„I would also like to know you. I will contact you", Loki says softly. Lyra is confused about this. She knows that Loki gets in prison at Asgard. How can he contact her?
„That hears nice", she answers instead of asking. 

„Lyra we should go up to Stark. We don't need the others knowing that you are near Loki or that you are our sister", Thor says and looks to Loki, „Tell no one that we have found Lyra. This could be dangerously for her." Loki nods. Lyra can see that he doesn't show his real face. She can feel that he doesn't want them to see his feelings. 

„See you soon", Lyra says and goes with Thor to the lift. Thor looks back to Loki before he steps in.
„I think this was a good meeting. I'm really glade that you don't hate him after today", Thor says.
„No. I can't hate someone who wasn't himself. This Loki and Loki from the attack acts completely different. This one is calm. The Loki who kidnapped me has screamed at me and hurt me. I think he was under someone's influence. But don't tell this theory to someone. I need a proof before telling my dad or the others. Especially, I don't trust America and don't know Barton.
I know that I trust you, because I can feel since our first meeting today a special connection with you. But I need to know the others." Thor hears everything and agree with her. He wanted to believe that his brother was a good man.
„Jarvis. Where is my dad?", Lyra asks the AI. She wanted to go to him and show him that he is her family by choice. She likes to have brothers, but Tony was her father and hero. The person she trusts most.
„Your father at his floor with miss Potts", Jarvis answers her question.
„Thank you. Please tell them that I come to see them", Lyra begs.
„Of course, miss Stark." Lyra laughs as she sees Thor confused face. She forgets most of the time that not every house has a AI.
The lift stops in the laboratory floor. Lyra wants to bring Thor to Bruce to see for the sceptre by himself.
„Bruce should be in the near. I bring you to him and after this I go to my dad", Lyra explains her plan. She takes his hand and can hear Bruce voice from the end of the floor, together with Steve and Fury. Also can she hear that Natasha is going to the group. They discuss the sceptre. She holds her head.
„They are so loud", Lyra mumbles. Thor looks worried at her.
„Who?", Thor asks with Irritation. He goes beside her and looks at her.
„The others in the laboratory. They discuss Loki's sceptre...", Lyra mumbles.
„You can hear their conversation?", Thor asks surprised and doesn't know what kind of power has Lyra.
„Yes. You not?", she asks unsure. She was able to hear so good all the time. Tony says it is because of her youth.
„No. Normally no one is able to do it", Thor says, „But it's okay. We can find the reason. Loki and I will help you find your powers and how to control them." Lyra is insecure. Does she want to know all of this? She wants a normal life with Tony in the tower.
"Okay. But we do it secretly. I'm not ready to tell some people about all this stuff. I want to be a normal girl and not a goddess", Lyra says. Thor knocks on the door before both of them get in the laboratory.
"Lyra. Are you okay?", Clint asks and smiles sympathizes to her. She nods. Clint seems nice and Natasha trusts him. Lyra wanted to be friends with him, and he looks at her like her father with his concerned view.
"Yes, thank you. I'm good", Lyra answers and gets to Natasha and hugs her. She was like a mother for her after Pepper. She helps her with her nightmares in the night and panic attacks on bad days.
"Nat can you drive me to school tomorrow? Peter wants to show me his new Lego set which his aunt bought him", Lyra pleases Nat. She nods.
"Of course, Sweetie", Nat says.
"Who is Peter? When did you become friends with a boy?", Tony asks behind her. She looks surprised to Tony. She doesn't have to tell her about her new friend.
"Peter is a new classmate and likes Lego too. He is very nice and intelligent. You would like him, but he doesn't know that you are my father. I wanted to wait before I bring him home. You know, I want real friends. Not friends who want to be with me because of you", Lyra explains calm, "You forget my name in school is Lyra Smith, not Stark." He sighs and nods. He knows she was right. He has chosen the fake identity with her together. He was the one who wanted this for her. Tony is happy for her to find a friend.
"Okay. Bring him tomorrow home. I want to meet your new friend. You can also ask MJ and Ned to come over. It's time for your friends to know the truth", Tony suggests. Lyra smiles and is happy to bring her friends into her home.
"That will be so cool. We can play in the gaming room and eat Mac and Cheese as dinner", Lyra says and hugs Tony thankfully.
"You bring another children in the Tower? Where we are and Loki? It looks dangerous for me", Steve says and sighs. He doesn't seem to like Lyra. She ignores him and look at Thor.
"Come, I show you the gaming room. Uncle Phil says you like video games. It will be cool to win again someone other as Dad or Nat", Lyra begs. Thor nods amused.
"I'm coming with you. You can help me to destroy noobmaster69. This warrior wins every time." Tony begins to laugh by Thor's words.
"Lyra is noobmaster. She and Happy created the avatar", Tony tells and look to the shocked Thor.
"You are the warrior who kills my avatar? You badass", Thor says and Lyra laughs.
"Yes. It's me. I am your enemy. I don't know that you are the player who always wanted to play against me. This is so cool. It was you all the time", Lyra replies amused, "I heard your swearing." She could believe that she was playing with her brother most of the time. The world was so little.
"You can play your games for a hour. We are going to eat Shawarma", Tony says. Lyra nods and goes with Thor to the lift.
