Lyra Stark - Goddess of War

Chapter 40

Five days were gone since Tony and Lyra as planned for her and the twins go to school. Today was the first day of school. Lyra's alarm rings and Loki shouts after her in the same moment. She stops her clock and thinks about a way to stop also Loki from shouting after her. She looks mad as Loki opens her door. The last days Loki used every morning to wake her up and eat breakfast together with her. Thor comes at the half of the meal to them and eat his breakfast together with them. That was the only time when they are just the three Asgardians. Natasha makes pancakes for Lyra and Loki and goes down in the gym. This was the new standard in the morning.
Loki stand and waits for Lyra to eat together before others come down to them.
„I am coming down. Give me a minute", she says and  gets up. Loki nods and goes down to the kitchen. A laughing come from Lyra's wardrobe. She looks at Pietro as he comes out of it and lay back next her.
„Be quiet. He would kill you if he knows that you sleep in my bed after our movie night", Lyra says and smirks. She gets to her wardrobe and picks a outfit for school. He looks at her.
„Go and get ready. You and Wanda also goes to school today", she remembers him and goes in the bathroom, changes her clothes and makes her hair. Her view lies on her arm. She wears long sleeves and gloves. To her luck autumn begin these days. Many people begin to wear long clothes now. This was her luck.
Lyra goes down to Loki and sees the pancakes in her place, smiles big. She looks at Natasha.
"Thanks mum", Lyra says and hugs her, "Have a good training." She sits down and smiles, looks at Loki who also begins to eat. Natasha smiles and looks at her.
"Oh I will drive you and the twin to school first and after coming home I begin with my training", Natasha says and smiles, "First your dad wanted to drive you but Pepper and he needed to fly to Washington last night." Lyra looks up. Why did he fly with Pepper? He hates Washington. It must be an important reason.
"Okay. Do you know at what time he comes home?", Lyra asks her and hopes he can pick them up. Natasha sits down and takes a pancake.
"They come back tonight. Your dad hopes in the afternoon, but they are not sure how long they will need", she answers. Lyra nods and eat her breakfast. A few minutes later Thor comes down and sit with his younger siblings on the table.
"Loki we need to go to Asgard today", Thor announces the plan for them and Lyra begins to get insecure. Her brothers and her dad were also gone today. Only Bucky could come to her if something happens. Good Pietro and Wanda are with her in school also Peter. Lyra can't believe that Peter is also a superhero after all the time.
"Are you okay?", Loki asks her and Lyra looks up, nods again.
"Yes it is just... I don't know how I should get a day without seeing you two", Lyra replies and looks at them. He looks at Thor and thinks how he can calm her down.
"We will just go for a few hours. Father wants to talk to us. He wants to hear how you are, and I think he will that we bring you with us next time", Thor answers and looks at her. Lyra stops eating and looks up. She wasn't interested to meet Odin after all these years and story's she has heard about him.
"Is it necessary for him to see me? I don't know this man, and I am not interested to meet him...", Lyra says and holds her fork. Both gods look at her and Loki shakes his head.
"You don't need to meet him if you didn't want it. It's your choice", he answers her question. She looks relieved by his words. Loki has told her about his childhood with Odin in Thor's shadow. She doesn't want to put him more in this shadow if Odin decides to like her much like Thor.
"I think you should meet him one time to make your own experience with him. You are his daughter even after all this year's", Thor says and his words hits a nerve.
"You are wrong! I am Tony Stark's daughter. In all this year's he never saved me. And both of you have told me that he can see parts of the future. So why did he let me at Hydra all these years?", she says and feels betrayed by her biological father. Tony has done everything he can to keep her safe or bring her back, even after the others believed she was dead. Thor can't find an answer and stays silent. Natasha gets up and looks at Lyra.
„We need to go", Natasha says and looks to the door where the twins are waiting for them. She nods and goes with all three to Tony's garage. She looks and smirks.
„Let us take his Jaguar. I don't need to hide who my father is", Lyra says and goes with Nat, „Oh and I sit on the passenger seat." Natasha opens the car and in the next moment sits Pietro on the passenger seat.
„I think I am faster as you", Pietro says amused and looks at the girls. Lyra glares at him and gets on the backseat.
He can be happy that she likes him. Lyra looks to Natasha and Wanda. They get in and Natasha starts to drive them to their school.
„Okay. Three rules. Rule one, no powers. Rule two, no fights and rule three, you three stay together and call me if something happens that brings you or other students in danger", Natasha says serious. Lyra nods and the twins too.

Natasha stops in front of their school. Peter and his friends are waiting for them. Pietro and Wanda get out and waiting for Lyra. She is nervous and looks at Natasha.
"Now I wish Loki would be here with us", she says nervously. Natasha takes her hand.
"If you want I can send him", she says softly. Lyra shakes her head.
"No. No he is with Thor in Asgard", Lyra answers and smiles weak, "Kick Steve's ass for me." Lyra goes to the twins and looks at the building.
"Lyra! You are back", Ned's voice is full of happiness. He tries to hug he, but Lyra takes a step back.
"Thank you... but I am not ready to hug someone", Lyra apologizes and looks at them. She doesn't even know if they can be friends again. MJ looks at her and nods.
"We should go in before the first period starts", MJ says and goes in, pulls Ned with her. Peter looks to Lyra and her gloves.
"Do you think this will not take looks at you? You know that the girls around Liz will gossip about it", he says as warning. Lyra sighs.
"Yes. I know but better as my metal arm in public", she answers and goes in with all. The student's staring at Lyra. Who wouldn't? She was gone for two years. Pietro looks at her.
"It will be everything good", Pietro says to calm her down. Wanda looks at both.
"We are with you. We keeping you save", Wanda says and follows them to the classroom. The teacher looks at the three new students.
"Good morning. We have three new students. You all know one of them. We welcome back, Lyra Romanoff-Stark", begins the teacher, "And the other two are Wanda and Pietro Maximoff." She looks at the twins. Both smiles weak. The three superhuman goes in the back and sits down. Lyra sits between Pietro and MJ. MJ leans to Lyra.
"Welcome back", she says and Lyra believes to see a smile on MJ's face. Lyra smiles weak.
"I am happy too", Lyra replies and looks back to her teacher. Lyra plays nervous with her fingers until Pietro takes her hand and stops her.
"Stay calm. They are just idiots. You have survived more dangerous situations", he whispers in Sokovian. She breathes and nods again, holds his hand. The teacher starts the lesson. Math.
