Chapter 48

They arrive in New York after many hours. Natasha and Yelena are in the jet behind Tony and land next to them. Lyra gets up and leaves the jet. She looks for Pietro and runs to him and Wanda. She hugs both.
"You should have seen how we destroyed the Red Room", Lyra says and looks at both, "The same thing will happen to Hydra." The twins looking at her and nods. Pietro looks at Lyra for injury's as he sees the blood on her suit.
"Hey calm down. I am not injured. It's not my blood", she says and looks at him. Yelena and Natasha come to them. Yelena smiles and looks to Lyra.
"Is this Loki?", she asks. Pietro looks irritated and shakes his head. Yelena looks in the group. She just knows who Steve is. The others are not in her picture. Lyra looks with a warning for Yelena.
"My brothers are in Asgard they need to take care of something with Odin or so. I don't know exactly what they do", Lyra tells her, "These are Pietro and Wanda. They were in my cell in Hydra with me before I meet you." Yelena nods and looks at both. Bucky and Tony follows as last ones.
"Okay. You three should go down to the medical and let check Dr. Cho your injuries after this trip...", Tony commands and send them down. He looks to the other Avengers, "Go back inside." They talk with each other and doesn't know exactly what happen. They just know that they were in Russia.

Lyra and the two widows sit on chairs and are waiting for Cho. They are not really hurt after Lyra has healed them with her powers. Lyra looks to her mother and aunt's direction. They also look tired.
"Yelena I will show you your room after this. You will stay with Clint and me in a floor", Natasha says and looks at her. Yelena looks up.
"Where sleeps Lyra?", Yelena asks and looks at both.
"I share a floor with my brothers", she explains, "every floor has three bedrooms, a small living room and bathroom. But if you want you can sleep in my room, like the old times." Yelena looks at her and Natasha. She doesn't know that Natasha and the others know that Lyra sleeps on the floor.
"Really like old times?", she asks and Lyra nods. Lyra looks to her hand and breathes deep.
"Mum knows that I sleep on the ground. She was with me in the first night after I came home. I wasn't able to sleep in this big bed", Lyra says and looks at both. She smiles weak and looks as Dr. Cho comes in.
"Sorry that you needed to wait so long for me. I was outside for dinner", she says and looks at the three. She took Natasha at first and looks at her, but didn't find some big injuries, just little bruises. Lyra was next and sits calm. Natasha stays with them because that Lyra's underage. Lyra takes the suit off and changes with help in a jogger and hoodie.
"Lyra. You need to stay in bed till tomorrow. Your body shows signs of overtired, and you used your powers too much", Dr. Cho says calm and calls for Yelena as last one. Lyra knows that the widows are okay after all. But they wait for Yelena and Lyra leans against Natasha, closes her eyes.
"Don't fall asleep", Natasha says and shakes her shoulder weak to let her stay awake. Lyra nods and was just tired.
"Okay... but I want my bed", she whispers to her. Yelena comes back five minutes later and looks at her sister and niece.
"I think we should bring her to bed", says Yelena and helps Natasha to bring Lyra upstairs to her room. She is impressed how big this is here.
"I never knew how you live, but this bigger as I thought. No wonder that you never came back for me", Yelena says and looks in the floor from Lyra. Natasha shakes her head.
"I wasn't able to find you. I have tried everything, but I couldn't find the Red Room and at the time we find Lyra my priority changed. This little girl was so scared of the world. It needed six months until she was really ready to meet new people. I wanted to protect her from Hydra and the Red Room after she told me that she was in there as a toddler. I am sorry that I came so late", Natasha says and helps Lyra in her room, "And the last two years I have searched Lyra without knowing that you were together as partners Dreykovs widows." Yelena looks mad at her. She never wanted an apology. She wanted to be wanted by someone.
"And it was real for me too, you're my little sister. Nowhere else is a person that I call sister", Natasha says and open the door to Lyra's room. She lays Lyra in her bed and covers her. She sit down a moment and hear a knock from behind them. Natasha looks at the door and sees Tony and Bucky. Both come into the room and look at her.
"She is okay, just tired after the last days. Let us go to the common area and I will tell you what happen the last days", Natasha says and feels also that she is tired, "Lena can you stay with Lyra till I come back?" Yelena nods and lays down next to Lyra. She hopes that Lyra sleeps peacefully for the first time. Yelena has helped her many times with her nightmares while in missions and knows her well. Tony looks to the blonde widow and nods.
"If something happens Jarvis will call us", Tony explains to her and looks at Yelena, "We will come fast as possible." She nods and lays her arm around Lyra, hear her calmly breathing.
"She is safe with me Stark. She is my niece and friend. I have protected her the last year", Yelena says, "So don't worry." Bucky looks at Yelena and Lyra. He wanted to stay, but he needs to know what happens in Russia. Natasha pushes both men outside and leads them to the common area where the other's waiting for them. She sits down and looks at them.
"Is Lyra okay?", Pietro asks Natasha and wants to know everything. Natasha nods and looks in the round. Peter and Sam are both here too. This was good so she doesn't need to tell it twice.
"I will tell you what happened in the last days. And yes she is okay, just sleeping in her bed. My sister Yelena stays with her", Natasha begins to tell them, "The day after we arrived in Norway, Lyra and I wanted to go to the next city as we were attacked from a member of the Red Room, the taskmaster. She was under Dreykovs control. We learned that with the help of Melina, the widow we have seen in the videos with Lyra, Dreykov was able to control the widow's mind. We flew after this to a safe house in Budapest. In this we meet my lost sister Yelena. She was freed from the Red Dust. The chemical that let Dreykov controlled the widows. After this we decided together to free the other widows and destroy the Red Room." Tony looks at Natasha and wasn't happy that Lyra was with them doing dangerous stuff. He knows she can protect herself but for him, she was his little girl. Tony can't forget Lyra's face from the day they found her. How Lyra screamed for Bucky and was left alone.
„Tony. Lyra is a good-trained fighter. She is stronger as all off us in this room. Expect Wanda with her powers as long Lyra isn't trained by Loki for it", Natasha says serious, „Our daughter has kicked Bucky and Steve's ass last week. She can become an Avenger with 18." Tony doesn't look pleasure by her idea. To think about Lyra in a fight like against Loki or Ultron scares him. She was hurt in both fights.
„I don't want Lyra to fight with us. She has fought enough in her life", Tony says and looks at her, „She needs a normal life. Find in ten or twenty years a boy she likes and work somewhere she loves. But she shouldn't fight our wars." Bucky looks at them.
„I agree with you. But if Lyra decides to become one of you, no one can stop her. She is super stubborn", Bucky says and looks at both, "But you are too fast for finding a boy to love. You forget she is a goddess. She can wait 50 years." Natasha looks to Pietro who stays silent.
"Don't you think that she will have her first love in the coming time?", Peter asks and looks at both men. Loki and Thor enter the room at this moment.
"Who will find their first love?", Loki asks and looks at Peter. He looks shocked and even that he knows Loki isn't a bad guy he has much respect for him.
"They talk about Lyra", Natasha answers and sighs, "That Lyra will find her first love in the nearest future. But Tony and Bucky want her to wait till they are old men." Loki and Thor glare at Peter.
"And you think she will find love in the next time? I asked you two years ago this question. Do you have feelings for our little sister?", Loki asks Peter and leans over him. Peter begins to sweating. He shakes his head fast.
"No Mr. Loki. I am just a friend of Lyra. I like another girl", Peter stutters and looks up to him, "But I... I think that she could find almost someone she likes." Peter looks at Tony for help, but he just looks back and enjoys the show.
"And why did you say this? Lyra is only eighty years old. 220 years too young for a boy", Loki says and looks at him. Pietro becomes a bit nervous. Yelena comes down and sees the group.
"About what are you guys talking about?", she asks them and looks at Loki and Thor, "You two have to be Lyra's brothers." She looks at the gods. Thor looks irritated to Yelena.
"What have we missed?"
