Chapter 31

Pietro and Lyra are the first one at home. He brings her back to Loni and Thor, lays her in the bed.
„She has stopped the fight", Pietro says and looks to both gods. He sits beside the bed and looks to Lyra. She looks to her brothers and nods proud.
„I just have good arguments and myself was a big surprise for some of them", Lyra answers and leans back in her pillow. She looks to Loki and smiles softly. Thor snores loud, and Lyra look annoyed at him.
"Now I know why you try to stab Thor sometimes. He snores like a bear", she says and Loki tries not to laugh. He nods and throws his book at him. Thor wakes up and looks surprised at the three.
"Thor go to your room. You snore like a fat bear", she says and looks at him. He wanted to say something but looks at her and hugs her.
"You are awake. I was so worried", Thor says and holds her. She nods and leans against him. She hugs him too and closes her eyes.
"Yes. I am. You don't need to worry any more", she whispers and calms down. He looks at her.
"What happen to you in the last years?", he asks softly. Lyra stares at him and say nothing. In her head she sees some memories from the last two years. She shakes her head.
"Nothing", she mumbles and hugs her legs, "Can you bring me to my room? I want to be alone." Pietro looks worried and picks her up, brings her to her room. He lays her down and looks at her.
"You know that you can talk to us? Specifically to Wanda and me", he says, and she nods, but isn't able to talk about the time.
"I know... but I can't", she answers, "I can't tell them that they amputated my arm while I was awake. I couldn't tell you if you hadn't known it since this day... you, Wanda and Bucky are the only one who knows the pain of torture." She breathes deep and looks at him. He takes her hand and presses her hand soft. He wants to show her his support. She looks at their hands and smiles softly.
A knock on her door gets her attention. Tony opens it and looks at both.
"Bunny. Can we talk alone?", he asks her. Pietro looks questionably. Lyra nods and knows that they need to talk. She was long away, and he wants to make sure she is okay.
"I will see you later Pietro", Lyra says softly and Pietro leaves her room. Tony comes in and sits next to her. He hugs her only and says nothing. For five minutes they just sit there and hug each other.
"I am so sorry dad... last time I don't knew who you are and just know that I must fulfil my mission so that they don't punish me... I am so sorry", Lyra whispers and looks at him with tears in her eyes. He shakes his head again.
"Don't apologize to me. You were controlled by Hydra", he answers and hold her. She cries and leans at him.
"No. Hydra send me away after I tried to escape with the twins. They send me to another organization for loan. This organization isn't better. They train girls to become deadly assassins... they stole so many kids.... And I become one of them, a widow", she tells him, "The girl which was with me on the last mission... I hope she is alive... they separated us after this. But she was so important to me, my only friend in this horror." Tony didn't say anything, he just hears her out. He holds her in his arms and tries to stay strong for his kid. She looks at her hands.
"Hydra has made me to a second Winter soldier. A stronger one. The amputated my left arm to let me more look like Bucky. They said so we would more look like the other. They did it because of my healing power... the next day I became this arm... it is most like Buckys, but there isn't a star in the shoulder. After I escaped really, I run and meet the twins with Ultron.... Ultron was crazy and has manipulated them, so I needed to go because he wanted me to do also bad things. I find a flat in Sokovia and learned a bit about my powers... I can heal other and myself, also I am able for telekinesis. But my body says that I can more. Weeks later Bucky and I meet we found us again and planned to life together. But then Ultron and you fought in Sokovia. I knew that I need to stop him. But at the end I get shouted and lands in Asgard thanks to Loki. After waking up. I can remember everything that happened in my life. Even the day as Bucky and Steve saved me while the world war days after I was stolen from my biological parents", she tells him everything and knows it is a lot to process. Tony is also silent and thinks about her words.
„You say that you remember the time as baby?", he asks her and she nods.
„Not everything, but the important moments like this. But also I have seen a picture from this day in Buckys notebook. They didn't know that was me. I also just know it because of the other baby photos in my hydra files", she replies and leans her head on his shoulder. He nods weak and looks at his daughter. She was a teenager now and not the little girl from before. But him disturbed that a man like Bucky knows her all the time and he who wants to be her father only had two years with her.
"Don't be mad. I can feel that it bothers you, but you are my father. Bucky is like a brother, like Thor and Loki", Lyra says. She looks at him.
"I know, and I am thankful that he protected you, but he knows so much more about you than I did. He has seen you all your life, from a baby to the woman you are now", he says and puts her in his arms. She closes her eyes and nods.
"Yes, but without him, I could be dead or a super deadly killer with no emotions. This scares me... Hydra can control me with a few words. But more scares me that I wasn't in the winter soldier mode as I shouted you...", she mumbles and her tears come back.
They look both to the door as Natasha knocks and opens it. She comes in a closes the door behind her, sit down on Lyra's other side. Natasha lays her arm around her and holds her.
"I am so relieved that you are back home", she says and holds her. Tony gets up.
"I will let you two talk and go to Pepper, and we will make a big dinner for your comeback", Tony says and smiles. Lyra nods and knows that he would love to organize a party, but he holds back for her. Tony goes upstairs to his and Pepper's floor.
"I was a loan to the red room...", Lyra begins to tell, "The first time as a toddler for two years. A woman named Evangeline was my babysitter and trained me for this time how to talk and read. I remember that it was 1983. This means I was frozen for over thirty years the first time. Dreykow wasn't happy that I didn't learn how to fight, so he sends me back. But last year he got me back. It was a few weeks after Hydra amputated my arm and trained me all the time. Dreykow used it and gave me a good partner. She becomes my best friend." Natasha holds her and wanted to ask Lyra about Yelena, but she is scared that she could be dead. Lyra didn't know that Yelena is Natasha's sister and only knows that Yelena is mad for her sister after all these years. They have talked a lot in the red room about Yelena's past and her family. It gave Lyra the feeling of a normal conversation, nothing about missions and old men who controlled them. Just two girls talking about family.
"One day I am going to destroy the red room and Hydra....", Lyra whispers.
