Doris's POV
MONDAY
"In my 30 years of teaching, I have never seen such poor results on an exam before. You are seniors, yet you still lack the basic knowledge we acquired 5 years ago. It's embarrassing, to say the least."
I know I failed it, nothing surprising.
"Doris."
"Yes, Ms.?"
"C."
"What?"
"You passed the exam."
I jumped out of the chair unable to control my excitement. How did that happen? I barely studied for it. I remember coupassingg points if I'd make it for a pass, and I wasn't even close to pass.
"Leon, A."
I turned around to see his reaction, but his face was cold.
The sudden knock interrupted our class,
"Sorry for interrupting, but we need confirmation for students who are interested in the trip to village Lake Lacid." That same blonde girl from the last time spoke.
She continued, "Raise your hands if you are interested."
Thinking of how Sydney will probably go, and I'll have to be there to protect her. I can't lose an eye on her. She needs to be saved.
I raised my hand with many other students including Leon.
"34." Blonde girl muttered to herself. "Okay, that's great. Thank you."
She left the classroom, and physics class continued. I can't even afford this trip, and I doubt my dad would give me a penny for it. He never lets me go anywhere. When I tell him I passed an exam, he will probably let me go. Maybe... Or not.

It was lunch break, and I got interrupted by Kyle and brunette girl next to him. Maybe that's his new girlfriend.
"Hey, Doris. This is Bella, my sister."
Oh, shit.
"Hey, Bella!" I shook hands with her. I stared at short brunette with full face of makeup on. Her eyes were bright blue, and her outfit yelled popular. They both sat with me, and we started talking.
"How do you like it here?" I asked.
"I was here before, Doris. It's not my first time here. I studied here for a year, and I had to go back to California immediately. I am not sure if I missed this place."
"Oh, really. I don't remember seeing you"
"Do you wanna go out tonight? We are doing party tonight at our house." She changed the subject like she was uncomfortable talking about the time being here.
"I don't think so. My dad will not let me go."
"Alright. You can come if you convince him, or you can just sneak out."
"Sneak out? There is no way."
"I can help you if you are interested."
"I forgot to mention that her dad is religious freak, and she is a pussy because of it." Kyle added.
"Shut up, Kyle." I spoke.
"Wait, today should come results for the play."
"Oh, fuck. Yes." I responded.
All of us three ran out of the lunchroom and headed towards message board in hall. I read first two lines, and the rest I ignored. And I read:
"Romeo: Kyle Peterson,
