"SYDNEEEY!!!" Doris screamed, and hugged Sydney behind her back.
"DORIIIIS!!!" she shouted. Doris put her hair in a bun and gently placed lipstick on her mouth. Sydney laughed hysterically while looking at her.
"What?"
"You are preparing for a make-out session with Leon tonight?"
"Shut up!"
Sydney and Doris were sitting on the bed, simply doing makeup and chatting about random things.
"Why is the hairbrush under your pillow?"
Sydney held the hairbrush with just two fingers, making a face of disgust.
"Stop!! It's not what you think!"
Sydney smiled. "Sure... I know you're imagining Leon fucking you–"
"Just stop! Oh, God!" Doris rolled her eyes, putting mascara on.
As Doris was doing her makeup, Sydney gripped a phone and looked at Doris.
"What is it?"
"New guy Kyle made a party at the lake."
"So..." Doris felt nausea just having his face show up in her head.
"And we are invited, but I know you don't wa–"
"How am I invited?"
"I don't know. He messaged me and asked us if we wanted to go. The entire school is gonna be there."
Doris's eyebrows lowered and laid down, and her head angled downward. She placed mascara on vanity and looked at Sydney. "I am not going. I don't like that guy."
"You barely know him. How can you say that?"
Only if she knew. Doris thought.
"You know who's gonna be there?" Sydney giggled, covering her face.
"Who?"
"Jacob and your boy Leon!!"
Doris was trying to be tough, but seeing Sydney excited and happy made her excited too. "Maybe... I–"
"What?"
"I might go with you."
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah, I know you would do this for me if I ever needed it!"
"Thank you so much!"
She got up from bed and wrapped hands around her, leaving Doris in surprise. "We haven't hugged in years."
"Hug me back, bitch!"
Doris forcefully pushed her away. "Hell, no!"
"You're a hoe."
Doris fake smiled. "I know."
"Let's prepare for the night."
Sydney wore a black skirt showing her long dark brown legs and a black shirt. She put on red converses and red lipstick. She brushed her black, longish, thick hair and pulled it back.
She put piercing on her nose and black eyeliner that was making her eyes bigger.
Doris wore jeans, a white tight top and left her hair in a bun. They both smiled at the mirror and left the house.
"I hate Kyle, but I am doing this mostly for you!"
"And I love you for that!"
