Calypso

The following morning, I was not feeling good. I woke up and ran to the bathroom. I unleashed a tidal wave of vomit into the toilet. I felt Leo come behind me and rubbed circles on my back and held back my hair.

I coughed, trying to control the vile and disgusting flow from my mouth. "Shhh" whispered Leo in a soothing tone. When I finished, I gasped as I tried to stand up to get water. "Stay here, I'll get it" said Leo, kissing the top of my head. I nodded, not wanting to argue at this point.

When Leo came back, he sat down next to me on the bathroom floor, handing me a cup of water. "Thanks" I murmured before taking a sip of water. "Oh course, you okay?" he asked drapping an arm around my shoulders. I nodded, taking another sip.

"I've been feeling so tired and sore lately, I guess it just caught up to me. I just need some sleep is all" I said, resting my head on his shoulder. Leo nodded but I could tell he knew something was up. I wasn't ready to tell him yet, not when everything was going so good.

"You sure? We could stop and get you checked out somewhere" he said taking my hand in his. I shook my head. That was the last thing I needed. "I'm sure. You go hang out with everybody else, I'll sleep some more and come out later" I said, looking up to kiss his jaw.

"Okay, let's get you to bed" he said. Before I could object, he lifted me up bridal style and carried me to our bed. I laughed as he set me down and kissed me, slow and softly. "I love you, I'll bring some food back in a bit" he said as he walked off.

I sighed, I hated lying to him. Once I was sure Leo was gone, I picked up the phone and called my doctor.

Leo

When I reached the dining hall, Percy and Annabeth (along with their children) with Jason and Piper with little Chris were sitting, eating blue pancakes.

"Everything okay? I thought I heard someone getting sick" asked Piper. I nodded. "Calypso's got a bug. She just needs to sleep it off" I said softly, not believing my own words. I shuffled over to the coffee pot and poured myself a big ol' cup of joe.

"Uncle Leo!" exclaimed Charlie when I sat down. I chuckled "Hey buddy" I said before taking him from his chair and sitting him on my lap. Charlie was at the adorable age of 4, he loved putting everything and anything into his mouth. I ruffled around in my handy dandy tool belt before I pulled out a plush dragon, just like Festus.

"I have something for you" I said holding the toy out in front of him. Charlie reached for it but I pulled it away. "You can have it on one condition" I said. Charlie pouted his lip but listened to what I had to say, determining if he needed to freak out in order to get it or not.

"You have to take special care of him, he's not like other toys" I whispered so Annabeth or Percy wouldn't hear. If they had, they would surely take away the toy. It's not like it would hurt anyone, I'd never do that to my nephews or neices.

"I will" he said, reaching for the toy once more, this time I gave it up. I saw Annabeth give Percy a look. "Relax, it's not dangerous" I said with a devilish grin. "Somehow, I don't believe you" said Annabeth crossing her arms. Just then, fire erupted out of the toy's mouth. "LEO!" Annabeth and Percy screaming in unison.

"It's fake I swear" I said, holding my hands in the air. "Get it away from him" said Percy as he stepped forward, handing Zoe off to Annabeth. "It's perfectly safe see" I said, taking the toy in my hand. I squeezed the toy and it breathed fire once more. It was actually a complex chemical mix that looks just like fire but is room temperature.

"Put your hand in it" I said holding it up to Percy who on instict backed up. I rolled my eyes. "I promise it's safe". Gods, why does this happen everytime I give them new toys. Percy looked up at me before sticking his hand out. I squeezed the toy onto his hand. He was startled at first but then smiled.

"Damn, thats pretty cool" he said. Annabeth slapped his arm. "Language" she muttered. I handed the toy back to Charlie who then jumped off my lap to go play with it under the table.

"I'm not going to say I told you so but I to-" I began but Annabeth cut me off. "A little bit of warning next time would be great" she said, obviously annoyed. I laughed. "So there's a next time?" I asked. Annabeth huffed as she piled more food onto her fork.

"Is it a chemical mix Uncle Leo?" asked Charlie from under the table. "Yeah, I'll give you a dollar if you can tell me what it is" I replied. Charlie scrunched up his face, giving me his thinking look before going back under the table to ponder more. I swear, Annabeth is only having kids to make future generations look dumber.

***Bit of a short one but I wanted to update. I don't really have anything else to say so I love you little demigods! -Izzy
