Chapter 25

Thalia

I woke up in a hospital bed. At first, I was very confused. The last thing I remembered was Leo asking me about a child then I blacked out. I turned to my left and saw Leo was sitting in a chair, he held my hand as he laid there asleep. He looked adorable even as he drooled on my blankets. I was hooked up to an IV. 

When I finally registered everything, I began to panic. This happened with Calypso, did I loose my baby? My breathing picked up as my heart began to race. The monitor I was hooked up to began to beep rapidly. Leo lifted his head and lookedd up at me, his eyes wide. 

He turned and looked at the monitor and gasped. "Thalia, Thalia, calm down, you're okay!" he said putting his hands on my shoulders. "Nurse!" he screamed, trying to get some help. "M-my baby, is it-" I began still breathing heavily. Leo smiled. "Your baby is fine. Everything is fine" he said softly. 

I sighed in relief. 'Thank gods' I thought, my breathing slowed and the monitor stopped beeping. A nurse came running in with a doctor behind him. The nurse came and checked my IV as the doctor looked me over. 

"What happened?" she asked, taking out her chart. "Nothing, she woke up, she was just confused" explained Leo. The doctor looked at me. "Okay, can you tell me your name please?" she asked with a kind smile. "Thalia Grace" I replied, unsure if I should even say "Grace". "Do you know where you are?" she asked writing things down on her chart. "I'm at a hospital" I said. "And who is this man" she said pointing to Leo. "Thats Leo, he's my friend" I said. Leo smiled, squeezing my hand. 

The doctor nodded, setting down her chart. "Okay, everything checks out okay" she said with a smile. "W-what happened?" I asked, still very unsure of my current condition. 

"You were very dehydrated, combined with being pregnant, it caused you to pass out. As of now, you and your baby are fine. I'm releasing you in a few hours. I'd reccomend you get lots of rest and drink more fluids, you should also watch your diet more" said the doctor with a smile. 

I touched my belly, in there, there was a little baby. "I'm pregnant?" I asked, making sure I heard her correctly. The doctor nodded. "You're about 3 weeks along, you were passed out for a week" she said. I gasped, looking up at Leo. 

Just now, I realized the toll this had taken on Leo. There were bags under his eyes, he was close to having a beard, I felt guilty that he had to go through that alone. Leo looked so bent out of shape, you'd think he was in a war. 

"A whole week?" I asked in a small voice. The doctor nodded again. "I'll let you two talk, I can get all the discharge papers ready for you to sign" she said leaving the room with the nurse trailing behind her. 

"Gods, I'm so sorry Leo" I said. Leo just smiled "For what?" he asked. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you the second I found out". Leo just bent over, kissing my forehead and putting his free hand on my stomach. "I'm just glad that you and the baby are okay" he said softly. 

I sighed, taking his hand in my own. "Uh, incase you haven't figured it out, you are the father" I said with a small smile. Leo's face went blank, my eyes widened. Did he not want this? Did he think there was some other guy? I mean, we weren't exclusive but come on, we practically were. 

"Leo if you don't want this, we have options" I began but he just turned and looked at me. "W-what do you mean options?" he asked in a scared voice. "I can raise it on my own, you don't have to be there, we could adopt or even um, terminate" I said in a small voice. I know that I didn't want to terminate but if I had to raise this kid on its own, it would be a demigod so putting it up for adoption won't be an option and I didn't want it to be another orphan at camp. This child deserved to have the best life or none at all. 

"What are you talking about? Thalia, I want this baby. You and me and this" he said rubbing my stomach. Leo looked up at me with the biggest smile on his face. "We could be a family" he said. I saw tears brimming in his eyes. "Thank gods" I said, wrapping my arms around him. He held me close and I came close to crying. It was all going to be okay, everything was going to be okay. 

When we got home, everyone was there to welcome us. Jason was the happiest to see me, he had to go home to help with Piper so he wasn't there when I woke up. "Oh please don't tell me you've been doing Valdez that whole trip" he said with a smirk. I bit my lip and Jason groaned. 

The seven, Nico and Rachel all went to the Jackson household to celebrate our return and both Piper and I's pregnancies. "So how long has this been going on anyways?" asked Annabeth with a devilish grin. I looked at Leo. I didn't know if anyone knew about us while Calypso was alive, they might get the wrong idea. 

"Oh, on and off for a while" Leo said with an awkward smile. "Well, I cannot believe we hadn't caught on" said Nico. "Nevermind that, you guys can have all of our baby stuff, by the time you pop that sucker out, Bianca will be almost two and we won't need any of it anymore" Percy said with a smile. 

"Guys, you don't have to-" I began. "Nonsense, we won't be needing it, at least not for a while. Besides, Leo made most of it anyways, its only fair we return the favor" said Annabeth. "Well thanks you guys, we appreciate it" I said. 

The rest of the night we all talked then went home around 2 am. Leo took me back to his place and we sat in our bean bag chairs. "Hey Thalia, I've been thinking and I want you to come live with me. I know its small and well, its in the trees but I can make an extension and we could have a nursery and we could baby proof this whole place and-" he began but I cut him off, kissing him. 

"Leo, I love you" I said with a smile. Leo grinned, "I love you too". 

***Okay, everything is happy now. We are coming up on the end pretty quickly now. Only 3 or 4 more chapters then we will move on to our next adventure. Now, I know I said I would be doing a Nico and Rachel book and a Hazel and Frank book but honestly, I'm just not feeling it so I've come here. Tell me in the comments which couple I should write my next book about, it could be anyone. I love you little demigods! -Izzy
