ARIZONAS POV

I felt like I couldn't breathe. My dad called me and said my mom was at the hospital. He said she passed out and hit her head. I asked Amelia to come with because I couldn't imagine doing this without her. The plane had landed and we were waiting to depart.

"My dad said he's here," I said softly, "He can drive us from the airport."

"Okay," Amelia said gently, "We'll be there soon okay?" I nodded and she put her arm around me.

"It'll be okay sweetheart," she said. We got off the plane and I felt so anxious. I was walking to grab our bags and I realized I never even told my dad I was bringing Amelia, I just asked her to come with.

"I kinda forgot to tell my parents you were coming," I chuckled.

"That's okay," Amelia said, "you had a lot going on this morning honey." I put my arm around her and we walked out to the parking lot. I saw my dad and we walked over to him. I hugged him tightly.

"Is she okay?" I asked.

"She's okay, she fell down the stairs this morning and had to get brain surgery, but she's recovering now and they are waiting for her to wake up," my dad said, "Let's drive back to the hospital."

"Okay," I nodded and Amelia rubbed my back.

"So who did you bring along?" My dad chuckled.

"Oh sorry, uh dad this is my girlfriend Amelia," I smiled.

"It's nice to meet you Amelia, or should I say finally meet you. Arizona talks about you nonstop," My dad said.

"Okay enough we need to go see mom," I said.

My mom hasn't woken up from surgery yet. Amelia and my dad gave me some space and I was sitting in her room. They let Amelia look at the scans and her chart and Amelia said it's extremely likely my mom will wake up fine. I'm grateful they let her look at everything. I'd be too much of a mess to look at her scans and I wouldn't even understand them. I need her to wake up.

AMELIAS POV

"Thank you for coming with her," Dan, Arizona's father said. We were currently grabbing lunch at the cafeteria to bring to Arizona. We wanted to give her some space.

"Oh it's no problem, she is there for me all the time, now it's my turn to be there for her," I said.

"She'll kill me for saying anything but she adores you," her dad said.

"Well I adore her too," I chuckled.

"It's good to finally meet you. I don't like that it's under these circumstances but it's nice to meet you," he said.

"It's great to meet you too," I said.

"I know you talked to Arizona about the scans. I know I don't know all that doctor lingo but is it looking okay? Do you think Barbara will be okay?" He asked.

"I think she should be okay," I said. He nodded and we started walking down the hallway. I opened the door to the room and Arizona was sitting down in a chair staring at her mom.

"Hey honey we brought some food," I said softly and handed her a sandwich.

"Thanks," she said softly, "I'll eat it later."

"Arizona you need to eat," Dan said.

"I'm not hungry," she said. I could tell she was angry and upset.

"Honey it's okay just take a bite or two and then you can finish it whenever you're hungry. We had a long travel day and you need to put something in your system," I said and rubbed her back.

"Okay," she nodded.

ARIZONAS POV
My mom finally woke up. Thank god. It has been such a long day with travel and waiting but I could not be happier. I gave her the biggest hug in the world.

"So Arizona," my mom said, "it takes me almost dying for us to meet your girlfriend?" I felt my face turn red and I looked at Amelia.

"Well you would have met her eventually," I chuckled.

"Thank you for being there for Arizona, and it's so nice to finally meet you," my mom said to Amelia.
