AMELIAS POV
It was Christmas week. My mother was visiting Derek so I decided to go to Arizona's family in Colorado. Our offer on the house was accepted and we would be able to move in after the new year. We weren't really in a rush since we could still be at Derek's. I opened my eyes and Arizona was peacefully asleep next to me. I smiled as she was so adorable. I went to get up to let her rest and she grabbed my wrist.

"Stay," she mumbled.

"If you insist," I joked and snuggled back into her.

"I like waking up with you," she said softly.

"Me too," I said and ran my fingers through her hair.

"I know I have to get up," she chuckled.

"Take your time honey," I said and kissed her cheek.

"Mhm," she mumbled, "I love you Amelia."

"I love you too," I said.

"Arizona! Are you awake!" Barbara knocked at the door, "Were leaving in an hour." Arizona groaned and pulled me into her.

"We're awake!" Arizona said, "sorry about that."

"That's okay," I chuckled. She looked at me and smiled.

"I'm so glad we get to spend Christmas together," Arizona said and kissed my forehead.

"Me too," I said.

"Can we bake cookies tonight?" Arizona asked.

"You're adorable. Of course we can," I said. We got ready and we were going shopping with Arizonas parents. I was so grateful that I was able to spend the holidays with them. I decided that I didn't want to be anywhere my mother was because she wasn't accepting of Arizona. I'm not going to go anywhere Arizona isn't welcomed.

"Hey so I know you said no early Christmas presents but I got us something," I said as we walked back into the guest room.

"You got us something?" Arizona chuckled, "what is it?"

"It's not dirty," I said and grabbed a bag.

"I didn't say it was," Arizona said.

"I got us matching pajamas," I said and handed her a pair.

"Oh my gosh that's adorable," Arizona said, "I love it."

"It's nerdy and funny but it's cute," I said.

"It's cute put them on," Arizona chuckled, "And we need to show my mom she'd find this hilarious."

"Can we still make those cookies?" I said.

"Yeah I'm hungry let's do that," Arizona said and we walked downstairs.

"Mom! Are you down here?" Arizona said.

"In the kitchen!" Barbara said. We walked into the kitchen and Barbara was going through her holiday recipes.

"Oh my gosh," Barbara smiled, "you need to go by the tree I need to get a photo of you two."

"Mom," Arizona complained.

"Come on it's fun," I said and Arizona put her arm around my waist. We smiled in front of the tree and Arizona pulled me closer to her.

"Mom can we use the kitchen we're going to make cookies," Arizona said.

"Only if I can taste test some," Barbara joked.

"Of course," I said.

BARBARAS POV
It was so nice to see Arizona like this. She was so over the moon in love with Amelia and it was adorable. I don't know how it's possible but more in love than the last time I saw her. The two of them were making cookies while I was organizing my holiday recipes. I needed to find some to make for our Christmas party in a few days. I looked over and Arizona had her arms wrapped around Amelias waist as Amelia was baking.

"You look like you're helping," I joked.

"Amelias a great baker," Arizona chuckled.

"That's debatable," Amelia said, "Arizona honey can you grab the eggs from the fridge."

"Mhm," Arizona said. The two of them were adorable. I hope they end up together. Amelia is a really sweet girl. I'm not exactly sure what her family situation is like but it's nice that she gets to spend a week with us and celebrate Christmas. Arizona told me not to ask about Amelia's mom, and to really just stay off the family topic for that matter. The girls were using the cookie cutters to make holiday cookies and it was so heart warming. It was so nice to see Arizona in a serious relationship but also a relationship where she can have fun and be herself.

ARIZONAS POV
We were laying on the couch in the living room watching TV while the cookies baked. I loved having Amelia here with my family. Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and I'm so grateful I get to experience it with her. Carolyn went to go visit Meredith and Derek, so I understand why Amelia didn't want to see her. Amelia nuzzled into me and I smiled. We were still matching and it was adorable. It was honestly so nice to see her heal part of her inner child, even though she would never admit to it. It was cute seeing her get excited to bake cookies and wanting to sit by the Christmas tree. I rubbed her back and she looked up at me.

"I'm tired," she chuckled. We spent the day shopping with my parents. My mom wanted to get all the Christmas sales and dragged my father along. My dad doesn't care about shopping at all but he was a trooper.

"Me too hun, but if you wait a few more minutes you can have cookies before you go to sleep," I chuckled. She chuckled and she smiled.

"Enticing," she laughed. I pushed some of her hair behind her ear and she blushed. She was so cute when her cheeks got red.

"You're adorable," I said softly, "Are you having a good time in Colorado?"

"Yes," she said, "Thank you for bringing me along. This is way better than being in Seattle with my mother."

"Don't thank me. You know you're my family too," I said softly. She looked at me and I could see tears forming in her eyes.

"Oh honey don't cry," I said and wrapped her in a hug.

"That was so sweet," she said softly.

"It's true Amelia," I said and rubbed her back as I hugged her. She pulled back and looked at me and wiped her eyes.

"Sorry this is so embarrassing," she said.

"No it's not," I said and stroked her cheek with my thumb, "you're allowed to feel whatever you want to feel."

"You're my family too," she said, "I love you so much."

"I love you honey," Arizona said softly, "Don't you ever forget that."
