Edwin's Pov

"Are you ready to go kill your parents?" Bursen comes up behind me with his packed bag.

"Don't really have a say in that." I shrug nonchalantly.

"Edwin it's okay to be upset about it. It's okay to want to back out."

"I'm not backing out. Those monsters deserve to die, die very painful deaths." I sigh.

"They're still your parents."

"They killed their daughter. I wouldn't call them parents. They aren't worthy of the title." I wince at the memory of Leon breaking the news to me late the night he came after the two went to sleep. I was doubting if it was worth it and if they truly were monsters. Apparently my "mother" enlisted Uncle Monen in leading some humans (who were actually on the council) into killing Eden, when she was practicing magic. Some random ass shit that makes no sense whatsoever, but only raises my hatred for them even more.

"I'm sorry." Bursen frowns.

"Killing them is the only way to do justice." I zip up my bag. "Is Edores ready?"

"Yes I'm ready." She comes into the room then hugs me. I told her an hour after digesting the information. I can never keep shut with her. All of my emotions and secrets just pour out of me when I'm in her arms. I cried that whole night. Since yesterday morning, I've just been ready to spill blood. I will do anything to see them beheaded for their crimes. All three of them. And the rest of the council of course.

"Where's Leon?" I ask her. He was helping her use a scythe for combat. Even I don't know how those work.

"He's outside waiting for us. He brought some horses." Edores says and we nod, following her out with our bags.

We sling our bags over the front of the horses and start riding towards the palace. We were planning on just walking in and killing. They're calling us traitors and blood-thirsty, fine, we'll show them that then. They'll get what they asked for.

We hop off our horses at the guarded gated entrance and hide behind some trees.

Edores stiffens suddenly and the three of us look at her in confusion.

"Why are Mack and Alice here?" She whispers asking nobody in particular.

I catch her glance to the two hooded figures. How can she tell those are her friends? I shrug at the though, she's a Queen, anything's possible.

The hooded figures circle around until spotting us and coming closer.

"Edores! There you fucking are we've been looking for you forever. We got the information out of Talia when we went to visit her for Alice's birthday yesterday." Mack (I'm assuming) shouts pulling Edores into a hug. I let out a low growl. A boy is hugging my woman.

"Oh, hey there, you must be Edwin. I was warned about you." Mack chuckles offering his hand to shake. I just fold my arms in amusement. So Talia warned him? Interesting.

"Happy belated birthday Alice, sorry I couldn't wish you. I don't have access to any technology to be able to call you." Edores hugs the other hooded figure. "Now, may I ask what you both are doing here?"

"We should be asking you that. The Kingdom of the Dark Wizards...seriously?" Alice glares at me. Great. All of her friends hate me now. At least I think this is all of them. Wait, there's a Julia right? Hm...yes. Maybe she won't hate me. I smile at the thought.

"What are you smiling at Crown Prince?" Mack raises his brow at me taking his hood off.

"Just amused that two more of Edores' friends seem to dislike me."

"You kidnapped her here. We have the right to 'dislike' you." Alice rolls her eyes.

"Guys...I'm here on my own will, in the beginning-yes he blackmailed me into coming, but now I'm here to help. Speaking of, we were trying to sneak into the palace so you both being here now really isn't helping." Edores cuts to the chase.

"We can help. Why does a Crown Prince need to sneak into his own palace though?" Mack asks.

I glance at Edores in question. Do we have time to do a quick run through? It'll probably be easier to kill a bunch of people with six people rather than four.

Edores nods then gives a brief summary of the important stuff that's happened. She spends a little too much time on the Queen of All Supernaturals part though, but I suppose that part is pretty important and big.

"Wow." Alice says.

"Yeah we really don't have time for questions right now. Are you both helping or not?" Bursen snaps impatiently. I check my watch, wow we're over half an hour behind schedule. Fingers crossed no one saw us out here yet.

"Of course. Anything for Edores. Who's now a Queen. Damn this really is insane." Mack shakes his head looking bewildered. I chuckle inside. This was probably similar to my reaction.

"Wait...how'd you even find us?" Edores asks. Actually that is a very good question. Neither of them have seen my palace before, so how did they appear here?

"Alice's cousin is a shifted Dark Wizard. He's been to the palace so he teleported us here. And then we found you guys, hiding behind some trees." Mack explains. Huh, shifted Dark Wizard. Haven't met any of those.

"Cool now can we please get down to business I'm getting bored." Bursen fake yawns bringing us all to laugh.

"Yeah, let's go. No splitting up whatsoever. Except Edwin, who will-"

"Capture the King and Queen." I interrupt bitterly.

"You sure you don't want me to be with you for that?" Edores asks quietly rubbing my arm making me calm down a bit.

"No. This is what I have to do. Justice for Eden." I nod to myself.

"Justice for Eden." Bursen and Leon echo smiling slightly.

"Okay, let's go, now." Edores says and we all follow the path we thought of last night.
