Edores' Pov (The Next Morning)
"It's done." Bursen enters the shared room we've been hiding in.
"What's done?" Alice asks.
"Leon's succeeded in capturing the King, Queen and Monen. They're at the cave blindfolded. Leon's instructed us to come there and watch over them while Leon brings Edwin there."
"Perfect. When should we teleport there?" Mack asks.
"Now." Bursen says. "They're still weak from Edwin's usage of blood magic two days ago. So it'll be easy to keep them there."
"Sounds good. Let's go." We hold hands and Bursen uses his black teleportation powder.
We appear in front of the dimly lit cave, the fire inside. The Majesties and Monen blindfolded struggling with Leon's binds and chains. I found out Leon's been practicing Dark Magic too lately, to help Edwin out actually. It's quite sweet. If only Edwin knew everything Leon's been doing for him. He truly is loyal and faithful to him.
We just stand there watching the three struggling silently. Edwin wants to kill them. No matter how much Leon argued with him yesterday not wanting Edwin's hands to be covered with royal blood. Edwin is too stubborn for his own good. So we're letting Edwin have his sweet revenge. At least it's in the cave though where no one but us will know about it.
Ten or so minutes pass by when Leon appears holding Edwin by his arms. Edwin looks so pale and weak, I feel my heart clench. The guards have been going against Leon's orders and torturing him a little bit for the last two days. At least they weren't treating him like a true prisoner though.
I watch Edwin's eyes widen at the three of them. His eyes meet mine with a tired smile playing on his face. He comes over to hug me and then Bursen before turning to look at his parents and uncle again.
Everyone stays silent wondering what to do next. Leon nudges Edwin to start his torture or whatever he had planned for killing them.
"This time just get it done, get it over with, rip the bandaid off. I don't know how long we have until the other guards notice you're gone along with the King and Queen." Leon whispers quietly but enough so that we can hear.
Edwin nods and walks over to them taking off their blindfold with one swift motion with his fingers.
"Edwin?" The Queen says in a groggy voice before looking around. Her eyes meet mine in panic before looking back at Edwin.
"I'll cut to the chase. No more torture. You don't deserve anything anyway, so I don't care anymore. No amount of torture will rid of the hurt you gave me and everyone else, especially my sister. Goodbye."
Edwin raises his hand, a ball of black swirling over his palm. He takes his dagger out of his pocket and combines it with his dark magic, or was it blood magic, I can't tell. He combines and then throws it at her leading her to scream in pain. His dad just watches him in a horrified expression.
He then looks at his dad with a solemn expression. "You should have divorced her when you got the chance. You're a monster with dealing with her and supporting her crimes. Goodbye." Edwin does the same thing with his dad now, the dagger going right into his heart this time.
Then he looks at Monen, who doesn't even look fazed at this point, he probably accepted his defeat and murder.
"Just be aware that everyone will come for you now. You and that sorry excuse of a Queen." Monen spits shocking all of us.
"Be careful with your words, Monen. I won't be so generous with you." He picks up his dagger and drags it across Monen's chest. "That's the Queen of Supernaturals you're talking about. I'd suggest you apologize before I kill you." Edwin drawls pocking the dagger deeper into Monen's chest as he continues dragging it, leading Monen to wince.
