Edores' Pov (After Edwin Split)

"Do you think he'll be okay?" Bursen asks me whispering.

"We just have to have faith in him." I sigh.

"This is so not what I thought would happen when we found you." Alice chuckles nervously.

"Well this is what you get for coming unannounced." I snap then sober up at Alice and Mack's frowns. "Sorry, it's just, this last month and a half has been really stressful and we're all just-"

"It's okay we understand." Mack smiles and I smile back.

"So how are you two doing? Officially a couple or?"

"Yeah. She took a lot of convincing though." Mack chuckles and Alice hits his arm. "This woman abuses me though, not fun." He fake pouts rubbing his arm.

"Shut up." She hisses while I chuckle.

"Damn so I'm the only single one here? The fifth wheel? God this is depressing." Bursen fake cries.

"What about Leon? He's single too." I recall.

"Speaking of Leon, where'd he go? He was here a minute ago." Bursen sobers up.

"Yeah he was right behind us." Alice frowns.

"That's strange. Should we look for him?" Mack asks.

"And risk getting caught? Hell no. We can't risk the Queen of All Supernaturals getting caught." Alice answers.

"Okay just call me a Queen. The title is way too damn long and cocky." I roll my eyes. "But we should actually look for Leon. We weren't supposed to split up."

"Wait I hear yelling. Follow me." Bursen says and walks to the left...towards Edwin's chambers?

We grow closer before watching guards standing in front of a door. The red door. Eden's art room! What?

"That's Edwin yelling and the Queen too!" Bursen whisper shouts.

We stay hidden behind the hallway watching.

"He was supposed to be quiet and not dragging attention to himself." I face-palm.

"Wait isn't that Leon?" Alice points to the guard in the center of the other five in front of the door. Oh shit. Fuck. Did he-did he-

"The motherfucker double crossed us." Bursen finishes my thought with a huff.

"He's a royal guard?" Mack asks.

"Yeah. Fuck, what do we do now? Edwin's outnumbered?" I ask.

"Well we need to get out of here. Edwin would hate for us, more importantly you, to get captured. We need to leave now."

"But they're sending them to the dungeon!" I whisper-shout a moment later hearing the conversation.

"We need to escape or at least hide somewhere. When it's safe we can get Edwin out of here. Damnit how long does it take to kill someone." Bursen groans leading us away from the hallway so no one sees us.

"It's his parents. He probably wanted answers." I shrug.

"Damn you know him better than me now huh?"

"Well I am his girlfriend." I smirk.

"Yeah, the love of his life." Bursen smirks back.

"Aw, if the circumstances were different I would totally squeal in joy that you moved on from Mason." Alice whisper shouts.

"Mason? Who's that." Bursen raises a brow and I mentally face palm.

"Her idiotic ex." Mack rolls his eyes and Bursen chuckles.

"Does Edwin know about this?" He asks me.

"Of course he does." I answer.

"Okay enough chatter we need to get out of here remember?" Mack says.

"Right. I know a shortcut." Bursen leads us to a hidden side of the palace. Oh. Eden's quarters, her art is on all of the hallways and doors. I still can't believe her own parents killed this wonderful talented girl.
