A couple of months have passed since the disasterous college trip. Dhawal had been visiting Natasha every day since the hospital, where he had snuck into her room where she lay in a coma. They were both shot, but Natasha took care of him until they were able to get to safety. Dhawal didn't realize how serious she was hurt until she fainted once they were safe. Dhawal injuries weren't that serious, but Natasha went into a coma while the doctors were treating her.
Dhawal was released, but Daama and Chiku wouldn't let him visit Natasha. So he stayed in the waiting room, hoping to hear any news about Natasha. Since he refused to leave, the Makwana family also waited.
Finally, the doctors came out, "Natasha Makwana?"
"Doctor, how's my Natasha?" asked Dhawal, as Daama and Chiku were shocked that the doctor said Natasha Makwana.
"I'm sorry, she's in a coma. She was shot twice. One bullet was on her shoulder, and the other grazed the side of her head." said the doctor
"What she was shot twice?" asked Chiku
"Doctor, Natasha stumbled right before she pushed me out of the way, but when I stumbled, I felt pain in my shoulder, Natashas was the one who figured I was shot in the shoulder and then patched me up." said Dhawal
"I suspect your wife saved your life then. If she didn't stumble when she was hit, the bullet would have hit you in the head instead of your shoulder. You are very lucky to be alive." stated the doctor.
"My Chutki will be ok?" asked Daama
"I don't want to give anyone false hope. She's in a coma. Until she wakes up, it is hard to tell. We have repaired the bleeding, but the head wound, we will know once she has woken up." The doctors walked away.
"Dhawal, please go home. You need to rest." said Daama
"No, Daama. I am not leaving Natasha. She's still my wife. I will stay with her. You guys go home." said Dhawal
"Not happening." said Amrish.
"Look, you need to rest. Go home with your family. Daama will keep you updated." said Chiku
"I am fine. Natasha never left me, and now I will never leave her. You all go home and leave us alone!" yelled Dhawal, alerting the doctors and security as their fighting was disturbing other patients.
The doctor came asking them to leave.
"Please leave. This is a hospital, and you all are disturbing the patients. Only one of you can stay." said a doctor
"I will stay with her." said Chiku
"No. I am her husband. I am staying." stated Dhawal in a tone that warned of no arguements.
"As you are her husband, you are her closest next of kin. You can make the decision." said the doctor.
"Well, then I am staying. Everyone else can leave." stated Dhawal.
"Beta, you're hurt. You need to rest." Amba interrupted.
"I'm in the hospital. There is no better place than here. Chirag, can you bring some clean clothes please."
"Ok. We will leave." said Amrish
"No! He can't stay with her. What about Suhani?" said Amba
"Ma, I am not marrying Suhani. Not now nor ever. Natasha's my wife. And she's staying my wife. You may all leave now." said an angry Dhawal as he walked into Natasha's room.
"Amrish-" Amba said
"Ma enough! Let's go home." Amrish dragged Amba away while everyone else followed leaving the hospital.
