Nagising si Yumiko nang maramdamang may sumusundot sa pisngi niya. Minulat niya ang mata para lang makita ang dalawang lalaking siyang mahalaga sa kaniya.
Both of them were poking her cheek, trying to wake her up and they succeeded on doing so.
Koharu was chuckling as he’s poking her cheeks, ganoon din si Kix sa kabila niyang pisngi.
“Look, our queen is awake!” Kix said then kiss her cheeks making Yumiko blush. Hindi pa nga siya move on sa halik na binigay ni Kix kagabi ay may pahabol pa sa pisngi.
Koharu giggled then hug her. “Mommy, let’s go downstairs. Daddy prepared a breakfast for us.”
Yumiko meekly smiled at them before going out of bed.
“I’ll be preparing myself. You go with your father downstairs and I’ll come later,” Yumiko said using a sign language.
“Okay, Mommy!” Sumaludo pa si Koharu bago nagpakarga sa ama.
Nalilito namang tiningnan ni Kix ang mag-ina niya. Clearly, his son can understand sign language despite his young age.
“Let’s go, Daddy! Mommy said she’ll be downstairs after fixing herself.”
“O-Okay.” Buhat-buhat ni Kix ang anak na lumabas ng kuwarto. Sa kusina na nila hinintay si Yumiko dahil mag-aayos muna ito ng sarili.
Inilapag ni Kix si Koharu sa high chair para maabot niya ang pagkaing nasa lamesa. Simple lang ang niluto ni Kix, iyong mga kaya niya lang lutuhin tulad ng hotdogs, bacon at sunny side up.
“Mommy will love this,” Koharu said getting some bacon for himself.
“You can understand sign language?”
Koharu answered his father with a yes in a singsong voice. “She taught me before turning three. I was so mad that time when I didn’t know what she’s doing with her hands.”
“And you speak so fluently, you’re just three years old,” puna ni Kix. Ang ibang bata kasi sa ganoong edad ni Koharu ay medyo utal pa.
“My best friend, Skye red eye, always teach me English words and few Mandarin. He’s also the one who told me that you’re a womanizer and that breast milk is good for the body. But he’s always out of town and four years older than me. Tita Hana also said that I’m a smart kid.”
Napatitig si Kix sa anak. Namamangha siya rito at sa kakayahan niya sa murang edad. He didn’t even expected that he and Yumiko would have a bright kid like Koharu.
‘Paano kaya kung makabuo kami ni Yumiko ng isa pang baby?’
With that kind of thought, he immediately wants to lock himself in a room with Yumiko. He wants to see her bulging tummy already. He wants to see Yumiko pregnant with his child.
‘My child.’ He smirked.
“Koharu, how about a brother? Do you want one?”
Nagningning ang mata ni Koharu sa narinig. He heard that his best friend, Skye, will be a big brother soon since Hana is pregnant.
“Daddy, I want one.”
Kix chuckled then patted his son’s head. “Soon enough, son. You will have one. Or do you want a sister?”
