Oops, wrong fandom (i've recently gotten into Marvel after three years of my online bestie begging me too-)
(she was right, i kriffing love it, where's it been all my life-)
ANYWHOODLE, here's 25,000 words, and I hope you read the following synopsis in the same narrator used for the beginning of most every Clone Wars Episode :D since it takes me so long to update chapters, I will be doing this at the beginning of every chapter so that the cobwebs can be dusted off before diving into a new chapter I post once in a blue moon, and will be updating all other chapters with one as well <3
Also, why do I feel like I do my best writing listening to heartbreaking Star Wars soundtracks? Drop your most beloved, heartbreaking soundtrack that you blast on repeat, mine is the epic version of Burying the Dead by Samuel Kim 😓

Schisms on multiple fronts!
Duke Elaeis's second-born son is AWOL, and now a prime suspect in the bunker-wide shutdown on Ronay. Peers are turning against the family, but while Tech and Crosshair have been sent deep into enemy territory for an extraction with Lady's Thea-Elouise and Molvaline, Tech believes the statistics point to a different culprit. Yet Crosshair still suspects that the Depon household is not entirely innocent.
Sergeant Hunter has been tasked with traveling across-world to draw away Separatist forces from the vulnerable bunker protected by the ingenuity of their demolitions expert, Wrecker. Together they hope to tempt droids to break off, and find some action after weeks in confinement, a sentiment that young Padawan Commander Maiv Narami is having great difficulty understanding whilst mediating between The Bad Batch, the Kuati aristocrats, and her own inner struggles between Jedi and Commander.
Meanwhile, SAC-1 must serve her true purpose by going undercover to save brash Saw Gerrera from Separatist clutches. But will the delusions fed to him by Lux Bonteri cause him to accept help from suspected An'Ya Tyree, Death Watch terrorist out to destroy Lux Bonteri? Or will he realize that his sister Steela's love interest is paranoid about the past coming back to haunt him?
The Bad Batch push their skills to max and hope for action and for answers...

(KUAT)
Out of spite, Crosshair got Molli out from the force field first, then Lou. He might have felt a guilty twinge when Vivi fluttered out of Lou's backpack in a spaz, cawing like crazy with feathers falling like a light snow dusting over them. A long whistle followed by four smaller ones from Lou, repeated as a tune several times did stop the erratic flying though, so she was fine. Lou outstretched a hand and after a few false alarms, Vivi landed on her wrist. She allowed her mama to sweep a finger from her beak, over her head and down the nape of her neck. Lou kept cooing comforts softly no matter how many times the owl's long tail whacked her.
