Everett's POV

This Saturday we've had a great day, we introduced meadow to a few friends and went out to lunch. Watching all our little ones play together truly brings joy to all of our hearts.

Now we're home, i have a few papers I need to work on so i walked up to my office to do it quickly so i can keep spending time with my family.

"Babe, would you like some help with the papers?" I heard mavericks voice behind me.

"Oh are darling, that would make it go faster." I said as I waited for him to walk up to be side by side with me. Once we make it up to our office
We stop and stare at the door.

It's cracked opened. "It's open, you and I closed it before we left to see the baileys." I said as I looked at Maverick.

"Yeah, Scarlett hasn't even been up here since we've been home. Especially since Felix is cranky" he replied. Felix isn't feeling well and has become cranky so Scarlett is helping him rest and making him a treat to make him feel better. Aka cookies.

We walk into the office and stop completely in our tracks when we see all my papers all over the floor. My desk is a mess and has a few toys on it. "Oh no, this is going to take forever to re-organize." I said as I rubbed my hand on the back of my head.

"Well it had to of been Cyrus, Elijah, or meadow. I don't think it was Felix because he's been with scar" Maverick said as he started picking up papers.

"We're gonna have to ask them." I said. Right about that time meadow was running down the hall from the direction of their nursery.

"Babygirl, don't run" I said calmly. She stoped and smiled up at us.

"Hey doe, did you come into our office and play? There's papers all over the floor and toys" I asked and stated. She looks at the papers then back to us before saying "no daddy, I didn't"

"Ok baby, why don't you go downstairs and help mommy ok?" I said. She nodded before rubbing off past Cyrus who was standing at the doorway.

He had a sad look on his face as he looked at us. "What's wrong buddy? Come here" I said as I held my hand out to him. He walks up and hugs me. Maverick and I look at each other with concerned looks.

"Bubba? What's wrong?" Maverick asked as he put his hand on Cyrus's head.

"I don't want her to get in trouble" is all he said as he backs away from me. I gave him a stern look. "You better tell us right now Cryus." I said.

He looks down with a sad look as he plays with his hands. "Well before you two came up I saw meadow come out of your office, I looked in and saw she messed up the papers. I was going to come find you before you got here before me.." he said.

I can tell he doesn't want his little sister to get in trouble but he also wants to tell the truth. I kneel down in front of him as I hold his hand. "I know it's hard to tell on your siblings but you're taking good care of them Cyrus. You did a good job." I praised him.

"Yes bubba, thank you for telling us. We know it's hard to do that" Maverick said as he caressed the top of his head.

After Maverick and I talked a little bit about a punishment for meadow we all walked downstairs together.

Even though we hate the idea of punishing her, we have to. She lied straight to our faces.

"I can't believe she lied" Maverick said as we walked down the stairs.

"I know, it's shocked me to to be honest. It's going to shock scar" I said as I carried Cryus in my arms. He wanted to be held until we saw the others. He's such a cutie.
