I watched as meadow and Elijah sat in their high chairs and ate. Meadow about cried when she saw her very own high chair, it was the cutest thing. Cyrus wanted so badly to help the new baby into her high chair.
He likes to help with all his siblings, he's a very proud older brother. So is Felix, sometimes they fight over who gets to help.
"Are you done baby?" I asked after I watched meadow push her empty plate away. She nodded her head and lifted her arms. I smiled before I felt a tap on my shoulder causing me to turn my head and see Scarlett.
She handed me a pack off wet wipes so I can wipe both of the messy babies down. Cyrus and Felix are usually clean, they don't like to get messy at all.
I wipe down meadow first because Elijah was still finishing his grilled cheese. Scarlett made grilled cheeses and soup tonight. I helped of course but mainly to watch her because she's so gorgeous.
"Ok down you go, why don't you go play with Cyrus and Felix ok? They should be in the living room with Everett" I said. She smiled and nodded before skipping off the to living room.
"Ok come on baby boy, let's get you out and cleaned up" I said as I turned to my very messy baby. I rolled my eyes at his little giggle. He knows he does this.

"Ok little ones time for bed" Scarlett said which caused so groans and protests. Everett and I laughed as we watched them try to fight her.
"Maybe I'll make you go to bed even earlier tomorrow do you want that?" She asked Cyrus who was begging her to stay up.
"Nooo, I wanna play forever mama" he pleaded
"You can play for the rest of your life you stinker, you know you get to stay up a little longer anyway. We put the babies to bed first" she said
"Oh....rightttt" Cyrus laughed
"They're gonna be the death of us one day" Everett whispered to me before kissing under my ear and getting up to help Scarlett.
"Alright, come on jahjah." He said as he lifted Elijah into his arms. Scarlett smiled at them as he walked out with a very sleepy baby boy in his hands.
I got up as well and picked up meadow who was yawning and rubbing her little eyes. She seemed regressed but seemed to also have a hard time with it so we were being as careful as possible.
"Don't rub your eyes honey, let's get you to bed. You've had a long long day" I said. She smiled and laid her head on my shoulder and I started to walk out of the living room.
"You two be good ok?" Scarlett said to our two oldest who happily agreed before continuing to watch tv and play with legos.
I carried meadow all the way up to there room and set her on the changing table. Everett had already took Elijah into the bathroom for a bath so we had to wait.
"Why don't we pick out some PJs for her while we wait" Scarlett said. I agreed so I went into the closet to choose some.
"Pink or white princess?" I asked out loud so she could hear me.
It's almost like I could hear the wheels turning from the closet. I waited a good 30 seconds before I hear a little voice "pink!"
I laughed before I picked them up and walked back out.
"Did you get socks as well?" Scarlett asked. I nodded, as soon as I set them down Everett walked out with a fully bathed and dressed babyboy.
Elijah ran over and hugged me tightly before babbling about his bath. I smiled and pat his head as I listened.
"Ok ima bath her and then one of you can read her a bedtime story" Scarlett said before guiding meadow into the bathroom. Meadow waved out us before Scarlett shut the door.
You could still hear their voices talking. Little meadow talking about how baths were her favorite and she likes to splash around. It was adorable.
"Dada, can we read two stories tonight?" Elijah asked.
"Hmm you've been good, i don't see why not" I replied.
"How about you pick one, then meadow can pick one?" Everett suggested
"Ok, I pick one. Then sissy pick one" Elijah said pointing towards the bathroom door.
Everett and I smiled. This was the first time Elijah called her "sissy". Although they're all very very fond on her, we weren't sure how long it would take them to get use to her being around. Especially another baby, and a girl. Sometimes girls have more needs.
Especially baby girls, and around a certain time of the month.
"You like having a sister honey?" I asked. He nodded and talked about all the ideas he had. Now that he has someone younger or closer to his little age, it'll be easier for him to play. Sometimes the older boys can be rough or want to play different things. So now he can play with meadow more.
My head spun around at the sound of a door opened. Out popped a clean and dressed meadow, ready for bed.

She looked adorable, her face was red and she acted shy as she walked out. I smiled and decided to tease her a little.
"Aww Everett look how cute she is, all shy from her bath" I said. She instantly threw her hands up to her face and hide behind Scarlett. We all laughed before calming down and starting to get ready.
"It's ok to be shy meadow, you'll get use to us" Everett said softly. She smile and nodded.
Once they picked out their bedtime stories I helped Elijah into his bed, I tucked him in and made sure the bars of the crib were secure. He likes to climb out sometimes, let's just hope he doesn't convince meadow to as well.
Scarlett got meadow ready, she was so excited to sleep in her new bed she was practically climbing into the crib by herself. Once, Scarlet got Meadow all tucked in. I sat down in the rocking chair and started reading the first book.
I could hear a yawn or two, it was calming and quiet. Even Scarlett and Everett sat quietly and listened. But the time I listened the first book I looked up to see both babies fast asleep.
Scarlett smiled before whispering "I'm going to give them both their pacis, then we can slip out" she said. I nodded and stood up as I watched her. Everett held my hand before starting to head over to kiss both babies goodnight.
Scarlett put Elijah's paci in and kissed him on the forehead. We did the same before following her to meadows crib. Scarlett softly pushed her paci into her mouth, she rustled for a second before calming down and taking it.
Once she kissed her on her head we did the same before making sure the monitors were on. Both Scarlett and Everett walked out first, I held the door before turning around.
"Goodnight little babies" I whispered before softly shutting the door behind me.
