Scarlett's POV

after finally getting all four babies to bed we finally rested into ours. "What a day" Maverick said as he laid down by Everett's side as I on the other. Everett likes us to switch places or sleep in the middle so he can have both of us.

Everett is very protective of every single person who stays in the house, he likes to make that known as well. I don't blame him, he is the head of the house. We're all very thankful for how much he protects us and the things he does for us.

"Elijah and Felix singing to Hakuna Matata absolutely made my day" Everett said making us laugh.

"It was so adorable, Cyrus just watching them like they were crazy was the best part though" I said.

"He was disowning them in his head I just know it" Maverick laughed. We talked a little more before deciding it was finally time to rest, I cuddled into Everett's side more.

"Hey, are we going to be ok during the rough storm tonight?" I asked. I forgot that we were having a bad storm, nothing to evacuate for but enough to make you worry.

"Yes my love, we made sure everything was properly put away and the house is built to withstand all kinds of storms." Everett replied as he caressed my head.

"Yes will be safe darling, and don't worry you're two incredibly strong and handsome husbands are here to protect you" Maverick said as he leaned up over Everett causing him to groan.

"Lay back down before I pin you down" Everett said making Maverick instantly lay down down next to him. I chuckled at the both of them.

"I'm not worried about us, I'm worried about the babies. Maybe they sleep through.." I said.

"I doubt it, don't I hope so" Everett replied. Mavericks hummed in agreement before we all fell asleep in each others arms.

"Mama! Daddies! I'm scared!"

My body jolted up instantly at the sound of screaming over the monitors. Thunder crashed and lighten lit up the room. I looked at Maverick and Everett who basically jump out of the bed as the screams continued.

"Mama! Mama!" Meadow screamed.

"Daddy, dada" Felix cried.

"We're coming!" Everett yelled. The thunder crashed louder even causing me to be scared. I threw on my sweat pants and a tshirt before we all rushed out of the room.

"You two get Elijah and meadow and bring them
To our room. I will get cy and lix." Everett command. Maverick and I instantly ran towards the nursery.

"Mama! Daddies!!" Elijah and meadow screamed.

"We're coming babies!" I said before slamming into the door. Maverick helped me stand back up properly and opened the door, we ran in to find both babies crying and clenching onto their crib bars.

"I'll get Elijah" Maverick said as he ran towards him so I ran towards meadow.

"Mama, I scared. So loud" meadow cried as she desperately grabbed onto me. I instantly dropped the bars and picked her up.

"I know baby, mommy's got you." I said as I held her close. I gave her a blanket and her stuffie. Her paci was still clipped to her Onesie.

Maverick walked up to me with Elijah in his hands. His face stained with tears and his hands shaking, "It's ok baby. Don't be scared." I said. He hide himself in mavericks neck as did meadow with mine. I shushed her as we carried them back to our room.
