Today is a special day, but tomorrow is an even more special day. Tomorrow is meadows birthday.
Today is the day I prepare meadows cake. I love to bake and I always make our babies our cake.
I'm especially excited because it's meadows first birthday with us so we have to make it special like we did with the boys!
"Mama can I help now?" Cryus asked.
"Sure darling! You can help me mix the frosting!" I replied.
Meadow believes that Cyrus and I stayed home because Chris was sick. Felix and Elijah both know I'm making a cake for meadows birthday tomorrow.
"Mommy can I the green frosting?" Cyrus asked with excitement.
Sure! Now be careful. I'll help you ok" I said as I set the bowl of handmade buttercream frosting in front of him, putting a few drops of green color into the cream.
"Mama how do we hide da cake?" Cryus asked.
"Well bubba, mama is gonna hide this in the spare fridge in the hard. Remember how you all aren't allowed in the garage by yourselves?" I replied.
He made an "oh" sound and laughed evoking understanding the plan.
I laughed as I ruffled his hair. "Such a dork." Cyrus continue to softly mix the green into the frosting as I pulled the freshly baked cakes out of the oven.
I set them out on the counter to let them cool so we can work on the rest of the decorations for the Cake, I moved over next to Chris and helped him finish.
Meadow has picked out a Bluey cake off of, And I am going to try my best to make it exactly like the picture.
" Mommy, when can we wrap the presents for her birthday?" Cryus asked as he set the spoon down.
"Later tonight ok? Daddy will distract her while we wrap presents." I explained.
"Okie!"
"Now let's get this bleh cake going, we have to make the bestest."
"The bestest!" He yelled. I laughed as I hugged him, kissing him all around his face making him giggle as well.
"Now let's get to work"

"It's done!" I said as I wiped my hand on a towel and wiped some frosting off my face.
"It looks so good mommy! We are artists" Cryus said proudly. I nodded in agreement before taking a picture.
