"Good morning Junior High School students! This is your Student Central Government President Emerald Harriet Sierra. I just want to say that today is our last day of school. Except for those graduating students who will be marching or practice for graduation. A one year of being in the students body as your SCG President is not easy, I experienced pressure, not just from my family, but also to my batchmates that we're really eager to graduate with flying colors. But all I can say is that I learned a lot from you all... Thank you and adieu, College of Saint Therese Junior High School Department, and it was fun serving you all... Again, this is Emerald Sierra, now signing off..." I announced my farewell speech to the whole Junior High students while nasa SCG Office kami ngayon, lahat ng officers.

"So proud of you, Emy! Our most reliable and best presi!" Gian said while handing me with a small paperbag

"Oh? Para saan 'to?" I asked

"A small gift, from all of us..." Our SCG Auditor said.

I opened the while paperbag and saw a letter inside it and a very cute penguin plushie from miniso! Ang cute...

Nung makuha ko yung letter sa loob ay I read it, not aloud.

"Thank you so much for everything, sa pinaka maganda naming President Emerald! Lab na lab na lab ka namin hanggang sa mawala na lahat ng chiffon cake sa buong mundo, chos! Kidding aside, very appreciate namin lahat ng ginawa mo to make the whole student body organized and well managed. Syempre, ikaw din inspiration namin dahil nakita namin na very hardworking ka sa pag manage ng schoolworks or academics sa duties mo as SCG President."

Shet! Ang babaw talaga ng luha ko pagdating sa ganto.

I was then greeted by a warm hug by my co SCG officers, dahil ngayon na ang last day namin sa student council... Last month din, naganap yung election of newly appointed SCG Officers for Junior High School. How cute, dahil ang bilis ng panahon! Dati-rati ay damang dama ko pa yung pagod ko noong Grade 9 sa bawat room campaign at pamimigay ng flyers!

Time really flies so fast, huh.

And since mag Se-senior High School na kami ay nag-run ako bilang SCG Secretary in Senior High School dito rin sa school namin last 2 months ago pa, kasabay nung intrams namin... And gladly, I won...

Speaking of intrams, madami naman ganap pero dahil Grade 10 kami at graduating ay for me, hindi ko siya gaano na-enjoy! Ang event lang na sinalihan ko roon ay cheerdance at quizbee. Syempre, plus points rin yan 'no! Kahit na grabe na pagod ko sa katawan noon dahil gabi lagi nauwi at may mga meetings pa at magrereview pa!

Pero same naman kami ni Elijah sa quizbee then since varsity siya ay sumali rin siya sa basketball. Speaking of Elijah, after the defense incident ay as much as possible ay umiiwas ako sakanya.

This is because my Dad found out that I am just in... 2nd place....

You know, may kilala siya sa school at naka monitor lahat ng mga pinaggagawa ko roon. At as usual, he confiscate my electronics and such.

"Listen, I don't care about excuses Emerald! I thought you're smart and capable? 2nd place? Really!? I expect you to excel and be on top. This boy is nothing but just a rotten rat that is trying to outshine you! Listen to me, Emerald. If you want to make me proud, then I want you to win, and that means outshining everyone, even him. Show me and your mother that you deserve to be called a Sierra or be just like your stupid brother!" Dad shouted at me while I was reading my favorite book one night after the defense incident.
