Blood Wolves [Reverse Harem X Reader]

Chapter 28

As the silence surrounds us, Fenrir starts to run slower and slower till he's just walking. His wolf form beautiful under the moonlight. It was almost like riding a horse only he was broad compare to one. And more hairy. 

Then the place becomes more familiar. "Stop." I said and Fenrir did. I looked at the tall trees, the green plants. The memory floated back in.. 

This is where I last saw Fillip. The last time we actually talked life friends right before I was captured. "This is where it all started", I said softly. Fenrir stayed quiet but the ears moved, showing he was listening. 

Suddenly, there is a rustling in the bushes. His ears twitched and I also looked. Putting my guard up. A sudden sharp pain comes in my leg. Fenrir whines and we both fall onto the ground. I groaned a bit, and looked beside us. My eyes widened in panic. 

There was an arrow in Fenrir's side. The point had just cut my leg. But I don't care. "Fenrir F-Fenir!" 

I grabbed tightly onto him, as he went back to his usual form. His clothing slowly startin to soak in his own blood. I grabbed his shoulders and shake him slightly. "No no no no no!", I took his head in my hand. His was breathing heavily. "S-stay breathing okay? Stay with me, you'll be okay" , I said, tears forming in the edge of my eyes. I heard someone coming out of the bushes. Footsteps come near. I looked behind me. A human, masked came up to us. On her back were arrows and a bow in her hand. I felt my heartbeating faster. 

"Come on, Fenrir!", I said but he only groaned and his eyes half litted. "Stay awake..." I said softly and took the sword I had and pointed it at the female. "You bitch...", I muttered. 

The female only chuckled and put her hands on her mask before she takes it off. Long black hair falls down on houlders and on top of her head... ears. Wolf ears... 

I looked in disbelief. 

The last female...

My shock quickly turned to anger. "What the hell are you doing.." I said, with a hint of disgust. "Well, look at that. I should've known you sided with them", she says. "You were always so fond of werewolves. A part of me wanted to reveal myself to you... I wanted to see if you would react like the fangirl you were. Or run away screaming in fear..." 

"What are you talking about?", I asked, my voice soft and I held Fenrir tighter. "You really don't recognize me?", she asked. She puts a hand on her chest and asked in a fake offended tone. "I really expected better from you." Then I recognize her. 

"You've got to be kidding me..." Before me I see Mina, who changed her hair. She didn't look innocent at all. She looks mean, confident. Evil even. 

"I don't understand. Fenrir is your brother, and you were dead!",  I said in disbelief. "Oh yeah.. I'm dead. And my brother didn't even try saving me. I at least hoped he would save his alpha, his leader... his own damn sister!" Her anger turned into an evil chuckle. "But I don't mind. I wouldn't have saved him either. He's such a softie, honestly." A glare is plastered on my face, holding Fenrir's head tighter. "Why would you side with them!", I snapped.

She chuckled, finding my anger amusing. "It was quite simple really." She replied. "I needed to know if my child would be a girl or boy. So I disguised myself human, and went to a hospital. Once they confirmed it was a girl. I needed to do what was neccesary. You see, the last female is already lying her grave and I'm the only one left together with her. My daughter would be the only full blood werewolf between all those old stubborn men." She lies a hand on her belly. "I won't give the last female that same fate. She won't be the one suffering needing to furfill an impossible job." She puts her hand of her belly and she takes her sword. "My clan will be destroyed as well" Mina pionts the sword to her brother. 

"Starting with their alfa." 

I held Fenrir tighter with with me. His breathing becoming slower and slower. I held him tight, as if he would die once I let go. "And why do I need to die for it?", I asked. "You're so dumb, so phatethic. You needed to die as soon as I knew you befriended a wolf to begin with. What was his name? Filllip, right?", she says with a mean chuckle. 

"You shoud've died when I send you in that battle. But you escaped that fate, didn't you? My brother then had the audacity to take care of you", she growled. "You're phatethic. All of you are phatetic." 

She swings her sword. I let go of Fenrir and take the sword. I swing it back, stopping her. The loud clinging of metal formed my ears once again. But Mina is fast and strong. She swings her sword my way. I jump out of the way but I felt a sting on my cheek. I lift my hand up. I look back at my fingers and blood was on my fingers. 

Mina swings her sword my way and I can't go away on time. I felt another cut in my shoulder. Mina doesn't hesitate and swings again before ducking and turning. Her leg over mine and she tackles me onto the ground. 

Thud. 

My back was flat on the ground. Air pushed out of my lungs. I looked at her, fear and adrenaline rushing through my body. I want to take the sword that fell out of my hand but she kicks it away. 

"Such a shame to die this way. I might bring a visit you to your family later too." "You're insane!", I snapped and crawled away a bit. "Insane? Darling, no. I'm just a... genius." 

She piont the point of her sword my way. "Your story ends here, (name). With you dying on my sword." She tilts her sword up to stab me. In that one second I hoped someone would push her away. To come and save me but I could only see the metal piercing through my shoulder. 

I caughed, blood coming out of my mouth. My shirt soaked in red liquid. I looked at the sky, at the thousands of stars. A chuckle could be heard and she comes in my vision. A twisted look on her eyes as my heart started beating slower. My vision becoming blurry and the pain that filled my body was slowly drifting away. 

"This story doesn't have a happy ending." She says to me and crouched beside me. She takes a strand of my hair and does it out of my face. "Not this time." 

As I felt the life slowly leaving my body. I could see her face twitch in one of horror and shock. The last thing I see is a sword pierced through her body before the darkness surrounds me...
