You open your eyes and everything is dark. You don't know where you are or how long you have been out. All you can feel is pain. Pain everywhere. Like an aching of all your muscles, a terrible sharp blade like pain through your head. As your eyes adjusted to the darkness your arms were by your sides but as you lifted them through the aches you could see and then feel scabbed over holes. Like what a needle would leave.
You lifted them further to run your hands through your hair and could feel similar abrasions behind your ear. Your hair shaved in that area and you realised that it had been chopped all over, your luscious locks were no more. However, that was the least of your worries.
You needed to figure out where you were and how to get out. As well as what has happened to you. And to James.. 'Oh no, James', you sorefully muttered to yourself, as you remembered what you had seen.
It felt like an age before anyone came to see you. You were trapped in a small cell. There was no bed or comfortings. You realised you haven't eaten and you are sure it had been at least a full 24 hours since you had woken. Stranger still, you didn't even feel hungry.
You heard a distant door unlocking. You weren't sure what to do. Do you stand up behind the door and try to attack? Part of you wanted to just curl up on the floor defeated. You had been circling the cell for hours. You decided just to stand tall, undefeated for now. The footsteps were approaching. It sounds like a small group rather than single person.
The lights from outside your cell came on. That's when you saw his face at the door. Uncle George... What the hell...
As he unlocked and pushed the door open you couldn't stop yourself from swooping forward at him, 'what the hell have you done to me?' you yelled in detest. He grabbed you and pushed you back against the cold, hard stone wall. You fell down in a heap due to weakness.
'You brought this on yourself child, you were the one snooping! I gave you the chance to have a good life, helped out your mother.. and this is how you repay me?? What would you do with any information you found?', he asked in a calm way, which was deeply disturbing.
'I don't even know what I found out!', you said as you clambered back to your feet. 'but why did you have James there? What have you done to him? He was supposed to be at war! WHY IS HE HERE?', your voice heightened as you demanded the answer.
'AND WHY DO I NEED TO ANSWER TO YOU!? A CHILD! A LITTLE NURSE GIRL! Who is out of her depth. So foolish to think this is your problem to solve,' he shouted back are you threateningly, then eased back, half waiting to see your response.
He sighed out loud as your silence filled the room.
'You do not need to bother yourself with this now', he stated almost sadly.
'And what is that supposed to mean??', you hissed back at him.
'He is no longer a problem of yours, he's no longer a problem of anyone's now.. You should be more concerned with yourself. And making sure you don't become a problem. Until you can prove this, this is your home.' he said as he looked up and around at the cell, gesturing of space.
He turned to leave the room, as he exited you walked forward with hatred in your eyes and said darkly, 'From this day forward.. I will always be a problem for you!', you don't know why you said it, you obviously meant it completely but you had never been a hateful person. However the way he is speaking to you and about Bucky - you just couldn't deal with it.
He peered back over his shoulder at you.. 'Your threats mean little to me, you cannot escape. And now you never will leave..' he exits and a group of 4 men, all wearing black, looking stern whilst holding different weapons enter behind him. The door is locked.
