CHAPTER SEVEN
BLAIRE
"There will be only two weeks off. One for break, one to go visit your desired college."
*
Phoenix smiles. "That is so cool! Road trip!"
I grin. "Hell yeah!"
The blonde haired girl walks by and my heart flutters in my chest.
S—
Sarah! That's her name! "Hey, Sarah." I call. She spins around. "Hey, Sky."
Phoenix gives me a weird look. "Blaire? You know her?"
I blush. "W-we met the other day."
PHOENIX
I raise an eyebrow. Blaire was iffy when it came to her name. Usually, only Parker called her Sky. On the other hand, me, or Logan. Really close people.
"Okay..."
"I'm Sarah." She said, smiling.
I smile. "Phoenix Sanders."
"This one here decided to knock a pile of books the other day and I helped her out."
Blaire pokes Sarah. "Hey, I didn't mean to! The thing had like...45 books!"
Sarah laughs and watches Blaire with a...admiring look...? My thoughts start to spin in my head.
"Merde, Ciel—tu est belle."
Confusion now fills me. Blaire blushes. She apparently understood the language.
What did she say? In French? I make a mental note to look up what she said. Hmm...
"You too," Blaire replies, cheeks still red.
"Catch you later," Sarah said, winking as she runs off.
Blaire looks dazed. "What was that about?" I ask. She shakes her head, smiling. "N-nothing. Absolutely nothing."
I decide to shake it off.
I'm walking down to Chemistry when someone knocks into me.
