CHAPTER TWELVE
LUNA
Blaire, Jon, Sarah and I were putting out stuff in my car to go to San Francisco. Levi and Ashton were heading to New York. Phoenix and Bailey were going to Michigan, and Logan and Dakota to Chicago.
It was time to go on our one-week break to go to the college of our choice. Blaire, Sarah, Jon and I were going to the Arts Institute.
"Everyone ready?" I ask. Blaire smiles form the backseat with Sarah.
Jon laces his fingers through mine. "Ready," he whispers.
I grin, turning to the road. "San Francisco, here we come!" I said, pushing on the gas.

We stop at a motel because it was getting dark and I could tell Jon was getting tired. We switched when I swerved and almost fell asleep.
We rented two rooms. One for Jon and I, and the other for Sarah and Blaire. I walk out of the bathroom to find Jon out like a light on our bed. Watching him sleep made me even more tired.

Dakota.Will.Not.Stop.Talking.About.Turtles!
I've been stuck in this car for hours and all I can hear is turtles. I remember the last road trip I went on, Phoenix and I got lost and ended up stuck in the middle of a strawberry field.
I was a little worried about Phoenix. she just gets crazier and crazier every year. What's the worst that can happen to her?
PHOENIX
"Tell your damn monkey to give me back my M&M's Bailey!" I yell.
Bailey and I were currently on our way to Michigan. Music played out of the speakers, almost at the max. A camera sat in my lap as I tried to get the bag of M&M's Joseph took from me.
"If Joseph won't listen to me about wearing that stupid Texas Tech jersey, he's not going to listen to me now. I gave up a long time ago." Bailey said simply, keeping his eyes on the road.
I take a sip of the strawberry smoothie we were sharing. "Why'd you have to bring him?"
