CHAPTER NINE

ASHTON

Luna and I finally arrive with Levi to Link and Jasper's house. I hug Levi. He had gotten here earlier. "Missed you," I whisper.

Levi pulls back and smiles. "Missed you too."

"My 'lil baby boy's here!"

Link who had their hair now dyed a lavender/lilac purple over the weekend comes running in and embraces Levi.

"Let the kid breathe, babe." Jasper said, pulling them away.

"Okay, okay." They said, smiling at Jasper. I finally get to Levi. I intertwine our fingers as more of our friends arrive.

Blaire walks in ten minutes after Phoenix, Bailey, James and Logan arrive. She has a friend.

"Who's this?" I ask, walking over. I notice Phoenix eyeing the two weirdly. "I'm Sarah. You're Ashton right?" the girl said, shaking my hand.

I nod. Levi grabs my hand and drags me onto the couch. No one is in the room. Levi brings his face closer to mine, slowly. I just want him to kiss me already. Right as our lips meet, someone plops in between.

"What the fuck, Luna?" Levi yells.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I ruin something?" she smiles.

I sigh and watch as everyone piles into the room.

LUNA

I laugh. Levi gives me a glare. Jasper comes in with two movies in his hands. "Okay, Fight Club or The Breakfast Club."

Link jumps up from their chair. "Breakfast Club!" they exclaim, while Luna yells the same.

Ashton looks confused. "Breakfast Club?"

Levi turns to his boyfriend with shock on his face. "You haven't watched The Breakfast Club?" he said incredulously. Chase comes in with drinks.

"Now we really have to watch it."

When the movie finishes, it seems like Ashton loved it. "Link, get the disco ball!" Jasper said.

Link laughs. "'Kay." They run off.

I turn to Jasper. "You have a disco ball?"

He smiles. "Hell yeah. There's probably a ton of glow in the dark stick on stars everywhere, all over the apartment."

I smile. "Do you feel at home?"

Jasper glances at Link. They're hanging up the disco ball. "As long as I'm with them, I'm home." he sighs. "Link is my home."

My heart warms. How sweet. "That's good."

Soon, there's a blast of music throughout the apartment. The familiar falsetto of Patrick Stump echoes into the room.

I see Blaire get up and start dancing with Logan. The Phoenix blasts through the surround sound speakers around the house.

Jasper runs over to Link and starts dancing with them.

Phoenix squeals and pulls Bailey up from his seat and dances. I smile at my friends, and at Ashton and Levi arguing about the song. Logan starts walking over to me.

LEVI

I run over to Jasper who's messing with his iPod. "Hey, you got any Arctic Monkeys?"

Link laughs and looks at me funny. "Are you kidding me? This gay baby has all the Arctic Monkey albums shoved up his ass."

Jasper gasps. "I do not! Whatcha want to hear?"

"Only Ones Who Know." I said.

Jasper does a little squeal. "I love that one! I know, I'm total Arctic Monkey trash."

"Thanks Jasper." I smile.

"No problem."

I walk over to Ashton and smile. The song starts to play. I grab him by his hand and we start to dance.

He leans his forehead against mine. "Levi?"

"Yeah, turkey?"

"I love you."

"I love you too."

BLAIRE

Bailey walks off to go talk with Phoenix. Sarah squeals. "Arctic Monkeys!" I smile at her.

"You like them?" I ask.

"They're amazing. I went to go see them last summer." Sarah said.

"I like them too. I really like Daughter songs through. And Fall Out Boy, duh."

She smiles. "Want to dance?" Sarah asks. I blush. "Sure." I reply my heart leaping in my chest. Sarah takes my hand in hers and I feel safe. At ease.

We swing along to the music, bodies close. I lean my head on Sarah's shoulder, humming along to the slow song.

I feel something blossom in my chest. Something I had never felt before. I was scared, but I loved it.
