HAPPY BIRTHDAY PATIENCE!!!

the crowd cheered and applauded as I gave my picture perfect smile with a classy wave here and there. Once the crowd finally pulled into a steady silence I started with a sigh before finally speaking.

"I wanna thank you all for joining me today. It has certainly......been a journey." I paused and waited for the sea of laughter before I continued. "But looking back and seeing how far I've come it's honestly astounding. I was told that my ambitions were far bigger than my will to reach them when I was first starting out. And honestly I thought maybe this was too much for a 20-year-old just getting out of college but look at me now. I now know for sure that this was the best decision I could've made. I'm now 29 and I stand before you with an empire of my own that I have successfully molded and formed into something a lot of people around my age could ever say they've done before and It wasn't just due to my efforts. Every single person in this room in some way, shape or form built me, and molded me into The patience Miller who now stands before you," I waved a waiter over holding a tray of champagne and swiftly grabbed one in my hand to hold up as I finished off. "and as I continue to take steps into my next journey and project I hope to continue to have you by my side. Merci" I downed the expensive beverage with one swing as the crowd mimicked my last word of gratitude before downing their own drinks.

The Orchestra began strumming a beautiful tune almost masking the sound of voices between every section of the garden. My eyes constantly basked in the sea of white garments either surrounding me in conversation or locked in engagements with other people.

I could tell each garment was either custom made or ordered from some of the richest fashion houses, because not one outfit looked alike not even mine that was gifted to me by The creative director Daniel roseberry.

The dress is the embodiment of  elegance a display of pure white that evokes regality and grace. The design was a floor-length silhouette that flows effortlessly, sculpting the figure with a quiet confidence. What sets it apart is the dramatic cape that cascades from the shoulders, sweeping behind like a whisper of power and poise.

To stand a apart I added a pop of color in the form of a pink purse, bringing life and personality into the overdosing sea of white, but also drawing attention to the flurry of different color flowers that aligned the grass walls with life. The look is made for attention, made for the gossip, and the gawking, made for someone who can command the room effortlessly, elegantly, and entirely on her own terms.

I exchanged another round of words that fed into the ego of the group of individuals, before they were finally pulled away from my gaze long enough for me to make my escape. I disappeared from the center of attention to catch my breath on the other end of the garden where there was only a handful of people. I pushed my way through with only a few exchanges of words before I finally found that peace that I longed for. I sighed out loud and leaned against the garden wall with my eyes shut as I took deep breaths to calm my rushing mind.

I remained like this taking deep breaths before my eyes slowly opened and gaze towards the dome that surrounded us, shutting the roaring cold outside of the dome out. Once again Penelope had planned a big party to celebrate my birthday but with the help of Donatello they rented out a garden scape. That mocked the beauty of spring to hide away the bitterness and harsh winds of winter.

But it was funny winter felt like spring compared to my words......

I was snapped out of my head at the sound of a familiar laugh. At first I froze thinking that it was a figment of my imagination. Until the light sound of laughter floated against the air again making my heart skip a beat and causing my skin to heat up. Mentally I couldn't move just stuck in that sound of deep warmth and aloofness that I found familiarity with. But physically my heart couldn't wait, it couldn't hesitate not when he's so close.
