Chp 54: Heart-Break Is forever

I moaned out loud in annoyance as I buried myself deeper within the sheets. But the vibrating didn't stop. I remained like this for a few more minutes until my phone clattered from my dresser onto the floor where it continued to vibrate. I snatched the sheets from over me and cursed under my breath as I felt around for my phone. Once my fingertips made contact with it I snatched it up only for my eyes to squint to adjust to the sudden brightness.

I looked around the screen to see Michelle's contact still flashing across my screen. I clicked my tongue and answered.

"Lawrence better have cheated for something because I swear to god" I hissed pinching between my eyes in frustration.

"We have a code purple" Michelle whispered in a hushed tone.

"A code what??" I shrieked

"A code purple!!" Michelle hissed between clenched teeth. It took a moment for her words to register before my eyes shot open and I answered back "where is she ? Is she okay?" I shot up in an instant. "She's fine I'm here with her. We're at the gym, but I'm worried she stormed into the gym this morning and now she refuses to leave." While she talked I moved from the bed to my dresser to grab something for me to slip on as I balanced the phone between my shoulder and my cheek.

"Did she say what was wrong"

"When was the last time she ever tells us when something was wrong" I sighed aloud as I slipped on my shoes. "Give me a second I'm on the way. Just keep an eye on her." Michelle agreed before we both hung up. I placed my phone and my charger into my purse before slinging it onto my shoulder. "Is everything okay" I was startled by a sudden voice from behind me. I turned to Aaron's now awake figure sitting up in bed but his silhouette was the only thing that could be seen until he turned on the lamp to the side of him.

"Yeah I just have something I have to handle"

Aaron peeks over at the clock then back to me "At 1:30 at night" He arched a brow. He had every right to be suspicious "It's my friend she needs me" I crossed my arms with a heavy sigh. He moved from the bed, wearing nothing but shorts beneath. he came to stand before me. "I know I heard. Just let me know if there's anything I could do to help." He wiped a spare hair from my face also wiping away my anxiety with it. I leaned into his touch as he placed a light peck to my lips. I looked up into his bright orbs as I felt the pressure of admiration staring back at me but the bags under his eyes made my brows furrow. "You still haven't been getting any sleep" I placed my feelings of worry. He sighed aloud before moving away to hide the object of my worries. "Not really but I'm going to be okay I don't need you worrying darling"

"Aaron you can't keep stressing yourself abou-"

"I know but *sigh* I just don't know what to do anymore. I don't know what he's thinking. Why would he just suddenly up and disappear again!! "Aaron stressed and rubbed his head lightly. "I guess you and me both are going through the same situation together" he joked lightly with a little smile. But his words quickly switched something in my brain.

Maybe this had something to do with Both Logan and Patience.

The gears began to turn in my brain as I went over the possibilities but I placed these thoughts in the back of my mind for a moment to keep Aaron from noticing my quick mood change. I moved closer to hold his hand in mine. "I'm sure whatever it is we'll both figure it out. after all that's why we're together I figured you out officer" I teased watching a scoff leave his lips as he rolled his eyes.

"Sure you did" He chuckled softly. We exchanged another kiss and an embrace before I grabbed my keys and shot out the door and down the road.
