"Nothing, I mean nothing, justifies a student wandering the school at night." Professor McGonagall sternly scolded the first years. Draco stood with a proud smirk across his face, his arms crossed watching as the trio got scolded. Meanwhile, Y/n stood reluctantly beside him, her expression mixed with remorse and penitence. The trio wore frowns, absorbing the seriousness in McGonagall's words.

"Therefore, as a consequence for your actions, each of you will have fifty points deducted from your respective houses." McGonagall's declaration caused the trio to look up from the ground in disbelief, exchanging glances with each other.

"Fifty!?" Harry exclaimed in bewilderment.

"Fifty points, from each of you." McGonagall affirmed as Harry scoffed, his eyes glaring over at Draco and Y/n. Draco's smirk grew wider, squinting his eyes at the golden trio. "And to insure it doesn't happen again, all five of you will receive detention." She adds, Draco's smirk wavering while Y/n clicks her tongue in annoyance.

Draco took a step forward, his brows knitted into a furrow. "Excuse me, Professor," His tone was dubious as he continued. "Perhaps I heard you wrong. I thought you said the five of us." He questioned as Y/n crossed her arms glancing over at the trio.

McGonagall's stern expression unwavering as she looked to Draco, "I did. You and Miss. Black were also found out of bed after hours. The two of you will be joining detention with your fellow students." McGonagall concludes turning away as Harry snickered towards Y/n and Draco.

"You are intolerable Malfoy." Y/n spat, being forced to walk with Draco as they trail behind Harry, Ron and Hermione who are following the lead of Filch.

"What did I do?" Draco scoffed, feigning ignorance as he looked over at her.

"You know exactly what you did!" Y/n hissed glaring daggers at the platinum haired boy. "You dragged me off to tattle on my friends. Against my will." She added, crossing her arms, her tone dripping with disdain and irritation.

"I did tell you I'd get you back, didn't I?" Draco smirked, his voice in a hushed triumph, happy that her friends now think she betrayed them.

Y/n's eyes fill with rage, glaring at Draco as if hoping his head will implode. She reached over grabbing Draco by the collar of his robe, balling up her fist. "Why you foul evil little pratt!" She lifted her fist up, ready to connect it with his nose when the others ahead of them stopped in front of Hagrid's Hut.

"A sorry lot this, Harid." Filch chuckled watching as Hagrid walked out of his Hut. Y/n gave Draco one final glare before letting go of his robe and pushing him away. "Good god, man, you're not still on about that bloody dragon, are you?" Filch scoffed at Hagrid who had tear streaks down his cheeks.

"A dragon?" Y/n whispered to herself, her gaze shifting to Draco who had a smug smirk across his face as he nodded.

Y/n responded with an eye roll before looking over at Hagrid once more. "Norbert' s gone. Dumbledore's sent him off to Romania to live in a colony." Hagrid explained gripping onto his crossbow., his muttered tone laced with sadness.
