A/N: I'm sorry I was too jetlagged to write and hungover from my trip. Mantra. Rosie. Moonlit Floor. Let's go! Thank you for being so patient. 🙂‍↕️

"Hey, you can just drop me here," Roseanne said, tugging Lisa's shirt sleeve with one hand while pointing at the curb by the street corner a few steps across their house. Lisa shot Roseanne a confused look, yet she still pulled over as asked. She offered Lisa a comforting smile, explaining, "I was supposed to have come from a sleepover at Jennie's house, remember? And she just lives in that house." She nodded in the direction to their left.

"No, Chaeng. You took these puffs from your café this morning, and your dad may scold you for going on a Sunday and I happen to have helped you taste-test them, so I'm dropping you off," Lisa said matter-of-factly and then was shaken upon receiving a quick kiss on the cheek. "What's that for?" She could not hide the smile forming on her lips.

"For remembering about this holy day for dad. Don't worry, he won't scold me for it. He'll check and remind me about not working today—totes fine!" Roseanne then hummed, giving her alibi a little thought if it made sense and could be easily bought... by Alice.

The sight of Roseanne being serious about it made Lisa chuckle, and she rested her hand on the blonde's leg. "Also, my Archenemy might be displeased about the whole idea of dropping you off a few steps away from your doorstep when I didn't really... You didn't really sneak out with me or something, so, uh, I need a little help here to get on his good side?"

Giggling, Roseanne unbuckled herself and leaned toward Lisa to cup her face, swinging it in her direction for a tentative goodbye kiss. "Don't call Archie your enemy. But agreed. You have to work harder to get his approval and calling him your archenemy won't help your situation. He's got a good judgment of character, so be good now, you." She shifted her breath and traced Lisa's lips with her thumb. "Especially this potty—cocky mouth."

"Not exactly my problem, this mouth... and tongue. You just... like it so much, don't you?" Lisa said, smirking in the end, and unlatching her seatbelt so she could pull Roseanne by the waist and kiss her properly.

A little sigh escaped from Roseanne's lips once they were freed as she regarded Lisa with a longing, drunken gaze. "Damn, right. I like it too much when they're on mine." Kissing Lisa was hyper-intoxicating to her heart, she was suffering from a hangover that could not be nursed until the next time they got to be together again and kiss endlessly. "Am I being clingy if I say I'll miss you?"

The pout Roseanne made sent Lisa into insanity, and she never reckoned love would drain her from keeping herself hinged—cold and hard against the world. With Roseanne's every gesture, a part of her turned into liquid, tied loosely to be untied again. Effortlessly freeing her heart from the burden of sadness. She was feeling an ounce of sheer happiness tantamount to the pains of her past. It made her gooey soft inside. "Who's clingier if I say I'll miss you more? Miss you already, actually."

"You," Roseanne answered the rhetorical flirt, causing Lisa to chortle.

Lisa kissed Roseanne's tip of the nose and brushed hers against it. "Did, uh, Arch like your ex?"

"At the beginning. Then he started being disappointed in her over time but never said a thing about it out of respect. But I could feel it," Roseanne said, smiling faintly. "When she barged in at home to take my things, he felt sorry he couldn't do anything to stop her even if his gut told him she planned something terrible, ugh."

"Not his fault. But that's good," Lisa said, smiling to one side. "That means he'll like me more over time."

"Look who's superrrrr confident! But honestly, that'd be easy. You aren't that bad," Roseanne said, snaking an arm around Lisa's neck. "I'll see you tomorrow, good girl?"
