After a few days, Lisa started feeling better physically—her cuts had dried up a little, her bruises turned purple, and her friends finally resigned from calling her 'birdbrain' for two days—Winter's stupid, pigeot idea—now that she could scrunch up her face to scold them without wincing at the pain. Swallowing food became less grueling, and maybe later, the best part was she could kiss Roseanne fully again. Their tiny, brief kisses over the last few days were not enough to keep her sustenance going with the demanding week ahead of her. At least, she was finally allowed to cook again—Roseanne finally allowed her to. The day after the scuffle, Roseanne gave her a lecture on things she had to avoid, including the heat—"Ask Mingyu and Hyunjin to do things for you. This is when it's best to act like a real boss, or else, you'll delay healing those cuts and won't get to kiss me until I'm back from the mountains," Roseanne said firmly, one eyebrow arched, and Lisa did not try to make her way out of it.

Selfishly, she quite liked being a loser with a sore face—and Jisoo and Winter could go to hell with their relentless jests—because Roseanne took charge of ensuring she recovered fast and constantly reminded her not to overexert herself. Roseanne prepared her nourishing meals and never failed to nag her with several reminders while at it—getting her a bunch of medicines, texting her to apply ice or a cold compress to her swollen cheekbone, and applying ointment to her wounds.

Their morning routine involved brief, private moments in Roseanne's office to make up for missing each other. Apart from the wounding limitation of kissing each other a lot because of Lisa's busted lips, they were always interrupted by Karina and her most random excuses—Tzuyu was not Tzuy-ing, Key was being a Tzuyu and two Tzuyus spelled catastrophe to her sanity, the whipped cottage cheese dessert was not whipped enough or not as whipped as Roseanne was for Lisa, or that she needed to borrow Roseanne's squishy stress ball because the campers were back—that pissed Lisa off that she scolded them again before Roseanne could stop her. Only to get scolded by the blonde a minute later to make it a problem for tomorrow and focus on facing her own problem first. Lisa did not get to clarify if Roseanne was talking about her literal face or the conversation they had about forgiving people.

Roseanne also prepared Lisa proper breakfasts that could help with her injuries—berry oats with chia seeds, a peanut butter sandwich, a Japanese sweet, rolled omelet, a Taiwanese egg crepe, and more. During lunch, Roseanne texted to check on her lunch.

🐻‍❄️: Eat your greens!! Actually, every color. 🌈

🧸🖤: So, red meat?

🐻‍❄️: Try to be funny now, and you won't get to kiss me until I come back from the mountains. 🙄

🧸🖤: You know that kind of threat will never work on me. I break rules and am a troublemaker, remember? 😏

🐻‍❄️: Hmp... Be stubborn now and you won't see me tomorrow. 🙄🙄🙄

🧸🖤: As if...

During dinnertime, Roseanne visited her in the restaurant so they could eat together. She brought pumpkin soup, orange-pistachio quinoa salad, broccoli tofu stir fry, and steamed salmon. Lisa loved everything and how Roseanne made time to cook her food in the café despite her regular busy workdays. But she was also wound up because, one, being the sweet girl that she was, Roseanne brought extra and some dessert for her friends, too, and two, every time Roseanne left, her dumb gang would not leave her alone, messing her already messed up head that was getting more anxious that their supposed problem for tomorrow was still hovering over them like a second shadow, unable to talk about it again to make it a problem of yesterday.
