Patricia Rogers sat by the window, the soft glow of the evening sun casting a golden hue over her letters. Each one was a piece of her heart, sent to John Knight, the trustee of her estate and the man she had grown to love.
Patricia: (sighing) "Another day, another letter, John. Will you ever understand how much you mean to me?"
She picked up her pen and began to write.
Patricia's Letter: "Dear John,
Every day without you feels like an eternity. The estate is beautiful, but it feels empty without your presence. I find myself wandering the halls, hoping to catch a glimpse of you, even if it's just in my dreams.

As she sealed the envelope, a knock on the door startled her. It was John, standing there with a hesitant smile.
John: "Patricia, may I come in?"
Patricia: (surprised) "John! Of course, please."
John entered, his eyes scanning the room before settling on Patricia. He noticed the stack of letters on her desk.
John: "You've been writing to me?"
Patricia: (blushing) "Yes, I... I didn't know how else to express my feelings."
John walked over to her, taking her hands in his.
John: "Patricia, I've read every single one. Your words have been my solace, my hope. I didn't respond because I wanted to tell you in person."
Patricia: (tears welling up) "Tell me what?"
John: "That I love you too. I've loved you from the moment we met. These letters... they gave me the courage to finally say it."
Patricia's heart soared. She had poured her soul into those letters, and now, hearing John's confession, she felt complete.
Patricia: "Oh, John, I was so afraid you didn't feel the same."
John: "How could I not? You're everything to me, Patricia."
They embraced, the weight of unspoken words lifting from their hearts. The letters had bridged the gap between them, bringing their souls together.
Patricia: "Promise me, John, that we'll never let anything come between us again."
