The day of meeting arrived, Zahra felt a mixture of nerves and excitement. She had chosen a soft lavender hijab and an elegant dress. Her mother, Amira had spent the morning preparing sweets and tea. While her father, Yusof made sure everything was in order for their guests.

As the doorbell rang, Hisham and his family arrived.

"Zahra I wanted to tell you how much our family respects you. From the beginning, Hisham has spoken very highly of you, and I see now why he holds you in such regard. We are honored to be part of this journey with you.." said Hisham's mother, Noor.

"Thank you, Aunt Noor. I'm truly honored as well.."

Hisham's father, Ahmad, nodded.

"We feel the same, Zahra.. Insha'Allah."

After more discussion about the practicalities of the engagement and future marriage, Zahra's father, Yusof, suggested that Hisham and Zahra take some time to speak privately once again. Both families understood that this was an important part of the process—giving the couple space to communicate openly without pressure.

As Zahra and Hisham stepped into the quiet garden, Zahra felt her nerves ease.

"Zahra, I know this is a big step and I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter how long it takes for us to feel completely ready. I respect your process, your thoughts, and I want you to feel comfortable every step of the way.."

"I've thought about this a lot, Hisham. Marriage is a huge responsibility, and I want to do it right.."

"I feel the same way. I want our marriage to be a source of blessings and a means for both of us to grow in our faith.."

"That's exactly what I want too.."

Hisham reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, velvet box. That was a simple elegant gold ring.

"Zahra, this is just a token of my intentions. It's not about the material value, but what it represents. If you're ready, I'd like you to wear this as a symbol of our engagement, Insha'Allah.."

Zahra's heart swelled as she looked at the ring. She could see the sincerity in his eyes. Slowly, she extended her hand, allowing him to slip the ring onto her finger.

"Insha'Allah.."
