As Zahra and Hisham continued to navigate the ups and downs of married life, one thing became abundantly clear.

It had been a few months since Hisham and Zahra had committed to improving their communication and spending more time together.

Zahra always the optimist, believed that their efforts were paying off. But deep down, she was anxious about something they hadn't discussed much: the possibility of starting a family. It was a topic they had touched before their marriage. But now, that they were settled into their new lives. Zahra and Hisham wondering if they were ready.

In the evening.. they sat on their balcony, sipping the tea.

"Hisham.. I've been thinking about something lately. I don't want to pressure you, but... have you thought about us starting a family?"

"Actually, I've thought about it.. but honestly, I don't know if we're ready. Things have been so hectic with work. I don't want to rush into something this important without being fully prepared."

"I feel the same way.. maybe part of this is trusting that Allah's plan will always there when the time is right... InsyaAllah.."

"You're right.. it's not just about when we think we're ready. It's about having patience in whatever comes next."

For the next few months, Zahra began to notice small changes in her body—missed periods, fatigue, and occasional nausea. She didn't want to jump to conclusions, but after a few weeks.. she decided to take a pregnancy test.

That morning, while Hisham was at work.. Zahra stood in the bathroom with trembling hands, waiting for the result. When the result appeared... "POSITIVE".

Zahra sat down on the edge of the bed, a rush of emotions overwhelming her. She was going to be a mother.

"aaaaaaaa!! Ya Allah, Alhamdulillah.. I'm going to be a mother!"

When Hisham came home that evening, Zahra was quiet, unsure of how to share the news. She watched him carefully, wondering how he would react.

After dinner, they sat in their usual spot on the balcony.

"Hisham.. I have something to tell you."

"What's wrong? You look nervous.."

Zahra took a deep breath.

"I'm.... pregnant."

Hisham was silent, his expression unreadable.

"Zahra... this is incredible. I... I don't even know what to say."

One night, they lay in bed.

"Hisham, do you think we'll be good parents?"

Hisham held her hand.

"I think we'll do our best. We just need to keep trusting each other.."

And so, with the blessing of patience, they prepared to welcome the next chapter of their lives together.
