"I guess it's time for us to make this place truly ours," Zahra said and dropping her bags at the door.
"Yeah, I think a few changes will make it feel like our own. Maybe we could start by hanging some of the art we got from the souks?"
Zahra agreed.

In the evening, after a particularly stressful day at work, Zahra came home feeling overwhelmed. Her head ached and all she wanted was to collapse on the couch. When she walked through the door, she saw Hisham on the phone with one of his clients. He gave her a quick wave. Zahra went to the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea.
Later that night, when Hisham finally finished his call.. he found Zahra sitting in at their living room, staring blankly at the TV.
"Are you okay, honey?"
"I don't know. I just feel like.. we've barely had time for each other since we got back. It's like everything else is taking over, and I miss the simplicity of the honeymoon.."
Hisham sat down beside her.
"I know what you mean.. I've been feeling it too. The reality of life is different from what we had on the honeymoon, but.. that doesn't mean we can't carve out time for ourselves."
Zahra leaned her head on his shoulder.
"I just don't want us to get lost in all the noise. I want to make sure we still prioritize us, even when things get busy."
Hisham kissed the top of her head.
"We will, honey.. I promise."

In the evening, after a long day at work.. Hisham surprised Zahra with a bouquet of her favourite flowers.
"What's this for, Hisham?"
"Just a reminder that no matter how busy life gets, you're always in my mind.."
Zahra laughed and blushing.
