Dear Diary,
Ok. So this has been the most exciting week of my life. First, I go out for a walk for the first time..frustrated with my dad for not letting me eat oatmeal. It almost seems like he doesn't care about me. I mean, I have no friends..so why not just let me do what I want? Anyway..I was walking down the road when suddenly, I see him. A dude, face in the dirt, unconscious. I didn't know what to do, so I panicked. I pulled him out of the mud and as soon as I saw his face, I kinda dropped him in the mud again. Boy, was he handsome! I've never seen another male before other then in my books m..and my father, so this was a shocking experience for me. It's so weird having a different person in our house. And guess what? Even though he's had a terrible fever this whole time, today he let me feed him oatmeal! My Papa has ALWAYS told me that no one likes oatmeal. DOES THIS MEAN THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE? HAS HE BEEN LYING TO ME THIS WHOLE TIME?!
Tania closed her diary, heart beating. She heard a moan from downstairs.
"Uh-oh. Why's he moaning? He shouldn't be moaning! It's the middle of the night. What's wrong? Is he dying? Was the oatmeal he ate today poisonous? Am I a murderer?" Tania gasped for breath. She was a worry wart. She took a quick breath in, and tiptoed downstairs from her attic room. The hot dude, who was still nameless to her, was tossing in his sleep on the couch covered in sweat. She quickly ran to the kitchen to get a wet rag, hoping that her dad wasn't awake. If he caught her up, he would probably beat her again. Tania tiptoed bag and dabbed the rag on his handsome face...which for some reason looked really familiar.
"It's okay, dude. Everything's alright." she said with a tear in her eye. Her mom used to always tell her that. now she only had papa.
Papa. He sucked all the joy out of Tania's life, but she didn't even realise it. Sure, he let her eat oatmeal..but not in front of him, and only once a day. Of course, she never followed that rule. She snuck bowls full of oatmeal to her room all the time! Still, she wondered why he hated it so much. She even made him a list of facts as to WHY he should eat oatmeal:
1)It's so creamy and delicious
2)it's low in calories
3) you can put whatever you want on it and it will taste good
4) it really kills depression
5)it can help you live a long and youthful life
6) good for pregnant women!
Of course, he just crumpled up her list and tossed it in the fire.
"One day Tania, you'll learn."
