3rd Person POV:

It's a new day in the Pokémon world. The sun shines brightly as the Pokémon start to wake up. Though, they aren't the only thing that we're waking up. The two trainers that we have now come to know are starting to wake up.

Luz, the human who got sent to this world only a week ago and is still learning many things. And Gus, the witch who had been living in this world since birth and has a lot of knowledge on Pokémon. Though, he is very easily entertained and shocked.

Nevertheless, the two had just woke up from their deep slumber as they rubbed their eyes. Eevee and Zorua also start to wake up as they both yawn.

"Morning Gus." She says, her voice sounding very sleepy still.

"Morning Luz, I'm going to make some breakfast for us." He says as he felt a lot more awake than Luz.

"How are you going to do that?" The latina asks as she pets Eevee, producing happy noises from the Pokémon.

"I have a lot of cooking supplies in my bag here. So I'll have something ready for us and the Pokémon to eat in about 10ish minutes." The boy said as he left the tent they were in, Zorua following suit.

Once they left, Luz and Eevee immediately went back to sleep. "Five more minutes wouldn't hurt anyone." Luz says as she yawns right after.

"Eev Eev..." The normal type responds, drowsiness riddled throughout her voice. The two then instantly doze off, not even caring how long it would be until they awaken again.

Eventually though, something that smelled delicious hit their nostrils and instantly woke them up.

"You know, waking up doesn't sound like a bad idea anymore." Eevee nodding as Luz says this. The two then instantly get out to see a table that had some cooking supplies on it.

It seemed to be making the normal breakfast foods, but no one was there to watch over them. This confused the two, until Luz saw Gus crouched down at a nearby tree with Zorua next to him.

"Wow! I've never seen a yellow Caterpie before." The boy said as he mesmerizingly looked at the weirdly colored Pokémon. Luz then stepped behind him and poked his shoulder, this making Gus let out a yelp and scaring away the Caterpie.

"Hey, earth to Gus. You left the food unattended." This made Gus tilt his head, until he remembered that he was supposed to be cooking.

"Oh right, sorry. I just got a bit distracted..." He scratched the back of his head and then went back to cooking up there breakfast. Soon, he was finished and put the food for him and Luz on plates while he put the Pokémon food in some bowls.

"Dang Gus, you really are prepared when it comes to food." She comments as she takes a bite of it, making her eyes widen and instantly eat more from how good it was.

"Yeah, I've always liked cooking so I'm always ready for situations like this. You also seem to be enjoying it." The boy chuckles as he sees how fast she is eating.

"Too good!" Luz replies as she is still stuffing her face with the food.

After a bit, the two trainers, alongside there Pokémon, were done eating and ready to head back into the forest. This time, Luz WAS going to catch a new Pokémon. No interferences, no distractions, no anything. She was going to do it, even if it meant searching from daylight to nighttime.

As the two walked through the forest, there Pokémon's on their heads, they just talked about whatever they could think. "So, guessing you're heading to the Plant Coven Gym first huh." Gus asks as he looks around for a suitable Pokémon for the latina.
